About the Gaylord National Resort

Situated on 41 acres, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center is one of the newest additions to the national capital region. With 2,000 guest rooms and 470,000 square feet of flexible space, it’s the cornerstone of National Harbor—a 300-acre waterfront community offering spectacular dining, entertainment, and retail in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The hotel’s 18-story, glass-enclosed barrel-vaulted atrium provides a themed environment that brings to life the mid-Atlantic region’s history, culture, architecture, and natural beauty.

Fun Facts• The Prince George Exhibition Hall is the size of three football

fields and has enough space to accommodate up to 400 full-size, tractor-trailer trucks.

• The width of the atrium is 240 feet; the highest point of the atrium is 230 feet high. This means the 150-foot-tall Space Shuttle could easily be parked beneath it.

• The entire property features a total of 10 million square feet of drywall, which equals 312,500 sheets. If you stood these sheets of drywall end to end, they would stretch 473 miles, or halfway to Chicago.

Welcome to Washington, D.C.

Experience Washington, D.C.

Once again, Washington, D.C. is host for the PARTNERS Conference. The nation’s capital, like the 2012 Conference, offers an eclectic and diverse array of educational opportunities. On your free evening, catch one of the hourly shuttles to view Neil Armstrong’s historic walk on the moon at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, or take a leisurely stroll through the National Mall. Take a guided tour or spur of the moment excursion and create your own adventure.

OverviewPartners User Group Committees

Committees The Partners User Group has been formed for technical education to support the business community by sharing information related to data warehousing, business applications, and big data analytics. The members are encouraged to not only utilize existing technology to advance technology and its positive impact to businesses, but also to identify opportunities for technical development and application to address new concerns in the industry. The activities primarily occur during the annual PARTNERS User Group Conference & Expo which is held in a major city in the U.S. each year. The organization was formed as a non-profit corporation in 1997.

There are four customer committees that exist under the Partners umbrella: • Partners Steering Committee• Analytical Applications Product Advisory Council (AAPAC)• Product Advisory Council (PAC)• Service Focus Team (SFT)

Partners Steering CommitteeThe Partners User Group is governed by a Steering Committee of customer representatives who are the board of directors of the Partners User Group. The Partners Steering Committee is instrumental in orchestrating the annual PARTNERS User Group Conference & Expo and oversees the other customer committees.

Analytical Applications Product Advisory Council (AAPAC)AAPAC provides advisory input for product development to Teradata Aprimo analytical applications. The AAPAC consists of license holders and end-users who come together to provide insight into new business strategies, processes, and functionality with an eye towards adding business value to the analytical applications.

Product Advisory Council (PAC)The PAC represents the voice of the customer and works closely with Teradata to gather customer requests—both short and long-term—to address key product and service issues. The PAC also facilitates a comprehensive product and service enhancement request (ER) process, which equitably represents the entire customer base.

Service Focus Team (SFT)The SFT works closely with Teradata on key issues regarding support services and other areas that fall beyond the scope of product enhancements. The SFT represents the concerns of Teradata customers and gathers feedback to make service improvements.
