RSS - Really Simple Syndication

Standard format for sharing content

RSS related terminology RSS Feed – The information that is provided in the

RSS format is known as a feed.

RSS Reader – An application or program that is capable of reading (consuming) and displaying an RSS feed.

RSS Aggregator – An application or program that is capable of consuming many feeds and displaying the content to the user
