Our ProvidersJeffrey T. Dreznick, M.D., F.A.C.G.Dr. Dreznick is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He went to medical school at Mount

Sinai School of Medicine, was a resident at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and was a fellow at New York Presbyterian Queens/Booth Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Dreznick is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. Clinical interests include: colorectal cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease, Esophageal pH Monitoring, gastroesophageal reflex disease, peptic ulcer disease, malabsorption and celiac sprue.

Harold Schwartz, M.D.Dr. Schwartz is a board- certified physician in internal medicine and gastroenterology.He went to medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical

Center College of Medicine, was a resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and was a fellow at Yale University. Dr. Schwartz is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. Clinical interests include: colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, advanced endoscopy including biliary/pancreatic, and hepatology (liver disease).

Jonathan Simon, M.D.Dr. Simon is a board-certified physician in gastroenterology. He went to medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine,

and was both a resident and fellow at Boston Medical Center. Clinical interests include: capsule endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, and hepatology (liver disease).

Mary-Ellie Stankus, A.P.R.N.Mary-Ellie is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, educated at Western Connecticut State University where she earned a Masters in Nursing. With

17 years of experience focusing on general gastroenterology, she works in partnership with our specialists. Mary-Ellie currently sees patients in our Ansonia, Naugatuck and Southford offices.
