As a fan of OSU you more than likely qualify as an Institutional Athletics Representative. That is NCAA speak for booster and it is important that all OSU boosters realize that NCAA rules apply to you. As a booster it is extremely important to keep a few things in mind as you enjoy the game day experience. While it is impossible to try and share everything you need to be aware of, it is important that you know the basics. • Leave the recruiting to our coaches. Should you happen to come in contact

with any prospects (individuals who are in high school) while enjoying the game please don’t take it upon yourself to try and convenience them OSU is the place for them. Our atmosphere will speak for itself and only our coaches and staff are allowed to recruit prospects to attend OSU.

• This applies to all formsof socialmedia aswell.Pleasedonot interactwithany prospects via social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc…). This includes direct messages, wall-to-wall comments, retweets and any other type of interaction you can come up with.

• Ifyoucomeincontactwithanyofourcurrentorevenformerstudent-athletes,please do not provide them any extra benefits. Boosters may not provide anything of value or make special arrangements for student-athletes, prospective
