ElectivesSociology is the study of the structure of human society.

Topics for this course include social problems, diversity, crime,

religion and politics.

Through study of psychology, students acquire an

understanding of and an appreciation for human

behavior, behavior interaction and the progressive

development of individuals.

Contemporary History covers events that are more relevant to today’s teens. The class is

structured to teach and discuss events that the students are interested in learning about

instead of a specific time period. This is a discussion and

project based class that is focused on collaboration.

The purpose of this program is to provide students with a foundation of knowledge and technically oriented experiences in the study of the applications of engineering and its effect upon our lives and the choosing of an occupation. The content and activities will also include the study of entrepreneurship, safety, and leadership skills. This program focuses on transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the technological tools, machines, instruments, materials, processes and systems in business and industry.
