The Oracle ACE program recognizes excellence in the global Oracle technology

and applications community. One becomes eligible by sharing IT knowledge and

experience, and by meeting official criteria. See oracle.com/technetwork/oracleace

The Oracle ACE logo gives qualified professionals a way to indicate their achievement.

It may be used in various communications, including email signatures, printed

collateral, electronic messaging, business cards, and websites.

The following guidelines have been created to assist you in using the Oracle ACE logo:

• You may only use the logo in compliance with these requirements

• Use of the logo indicates your agreement to comply with these guidelines

• The Oracle ACE name and logo may be used only by the individuals who have met

the eligibility criteria and are recognized as an Oracle ACE

• The logo should not be used to promote a company or any other entity except in

direct and unambiguous connection to Oracle ACE program members

USING THE LOGO

WEBSITE

The Oracle ACE logo may be used on your personal web page or blog as long as it is directly associated with your name

and designated tier.

BUSINESS CARDS AND COLL ATERAL

The Oracle ACE logo may be used on your personal business cards, on business cards provided to you by your company, or

personalized collateral, and other promotional materials ONLY if it is directly associated with your name and designated tier.

EMAIL SIGNATURE

The logo may be used in your e-mail signature directly associated with your name.

The following designations may be used in reference to the program and to your designated status:

• Oracle ACE

• Oracle ACE Director

• Oracle ACE Associate

Where NOT to Use the Oracle ACE Logo

• The logo may not be used on products or on packaging

• The logo may not appear on or in connection with any marketing materials for any individual other than the one

who has earned Oracle ACE status

• The logo may not appear on any company websites, even if the designated ACE program member is an employee

of that company

REVIEW AND APPROVAL PROCESS

The designated ACE program member must agree to:

• Cooperate fully and provide Oracle with the right to review any relevant materials

• Promptly make any changes required by Oracle to conform to these guidelines

• Report any misuse of the Oracle ACE program logo to: [email protected]

Color is one of the most effective elements for ensuring a clear and consistent presentation of the

Oracle Ace Program brand identity and is essential to maintaining a strong worldwide brand.

The Oracle Ace Program color palette consists of PMS 7408, PMS Cool Gray 9 C, black, and PMS 485.

Consistent use of the official color palette is essential.

COLOR AND BACKGROUND USAGE

The Oracle ACE logos are designed with PMS 7408, black, and PMS 485. The color logo on a white background

is always preferred. Using the logo on black or dark backgrounds is acceptable but not recommended. Most

importantly, make sure the Oracle ACE logos are always legible.

Note: The black backgrounds displayed below on the right are for staging purposes only, to illustrate how the

Oracle ACE logos appear when placed on a black background, and are not part of the logo.

The Oracle ACE logos should always be large enough to ensure legibility. To ensure that the logo is prominent and readable

at reduced sizes, please observe the minimum-size requirements in all media.

The minimum size is measured by the width of the Oracle signature. In printed materials, the Oracle signature must be no

less than 17.5 mm or 0.6965 inches in width. When displayed onscreen, the Oracle signature must be no less than 57 pixels

in width.

The Oracle ACE logos should never compete visually with other graphic elements. Use established minimum

clear-space guidelines at all times.

Clear space [x] is equal to the cap height of the O in the Oracle signature. That distance should be used to

set off the logo both horizontally and vertically from other elements. Never use less than the minimum clear

space. See clear space defined by x in the example here.

Design and usage standards ensure that the Oracle ACE logos are instantly recognizable however and

wherever it is used. You must follow brand guidelines carefully and avoid unauthorized variations such as

those displayed here.

UNACCEPTABLE USAGE

Do not change the color of the Oracle ACE logo

Do not place the Oracle ACE logo over four-color photography or illustration

Do not use a three-dimensional version of the Oracle ACE logo in a two-dimensional format

Do not use the Oracle ACE logo at an angle— it must always be displayed horizontally

Do not choose a background color that clashes with the color of the Oracle ACE logo

Do not make a pattern out of the Oracle ACE logo

Do not use the Oracle ACE logo with a drop shadow

Do not distort the Oracle ACE logo or place it inside a form or object

Do not stretch the Oracle ACE logo
