OUTBACK XACKWhen sleeping, the cold can be areal nag, so be sure to have athermal sleeping bag! When climbingthe ice can cause a slip, which canlead to breaking a hip. So makesure you have metal spiked

crampons. They attach to your bootsto make ice your pawn. If you needto dig in for the night, bring ashovel to prevent a fall at ahorrible height. As we climb higherthe air will get thinner, so bringan Oxygen tank to make it back fordinner. Well need a radio in caseof emergency, or to find our wayback to camp after a pee. This isserious business were in, wellneed all of this to win! Throw inplenty of ropes, so we dont run

out and feel like dopes. On themountain theres no landlord to payrent, so bring a strong and durabletent. You wont find any hiddensprings in a grove, so to boilwater to drink youll need a stove! The sun will reflect off the snowand be real bright, youll needglacier glasses when it isntnight! Youll need just a couplemore things, and a whole lot ofmight to be at the top like kings.Bring a jumar for easy climbing. Itslides up a rope but not down toprevent sliding. The last two itemsgo on the outside of your packs. Ateasy access should be trekkingpoles and your ice ax! Thats it,were packed, congrats!

    INSERT MUSIC w/ HIKING:

OUTBACK XACKGlaciers are massive rivers of ice.To rocks and mountains they arentvery nice. They carve and shapeanything in their sight. Their sizeand weight carry tremendous might. They may look like theyre sittingstill, but gravity pulls them withtremendous will. They can move twoto three feet a day. Plowingthrough anything in their way. Manyof the hills, valleys, and lakesyou see, were once shaped by agiant Icee. Flowing over the land.Moving, cutting, carving like acraftsmans hand. Glaciers likethis one, are far from done.Theyre still on the run. Changingand shaping the globe were on. Sowhen you tuck and roll down a hill.Remember that it was a glacierspowerful will, that brought about

    such a wonderful thrill!
