Award Miles & Level Miles: Every time you fly, you earn Award miles and level miles. With Award miles, you can get free tickets and upgrades. Level miles count towards your qualification for Silver or Gold status. Award miles consist of geographical miles flown, applicable Business or First Class bonuses and applicable Silver or Gold bonuses

Qualifying year: is a period of 12 months that starts from the date of your first transaction. Another new qualifying year starts automatically after the end of the previous one. At the beginning of a new qualifying year, your level miles will reset to zero.

Open Jaw: A flight itinerary where the departure city is different on the way out than the return.

Inter-region: in two different regions

Intra-region: in the same region

Children: between 2 years and 12 years

Oasis Club Membership BenefitsThe Oasis Club rewards Kuwait Airways frequent flyers with a range of attractive rewards and privileges.

Family Mileage Pooling ProgramTo make your membership even more rewarding, Oasis Club allows you to pool your family’s miles into one account. Family Mileage members however are not eligible for the elite tiers Silver and Gold.

The minimum age for enrolment in the program is 2 years. Children between the ages of 2 and 12 will earn 50% of the applicable mileage.

Generous First and Business Class BonusesEnjoy bonuses when you travel Business or First Class. Flying Business Class will award you double the miles; and on First Class, triple the miles. Class of service bonuses will count towards elite qualification.

Dedicated counters at the Oasis Club Customer Service Centre

Dedicated counters at Oasis Club Customer Service Centre in Sharq-Kuwait City will ensure you are attended to as soon as possible.

Elite mileage bonusSilver and Gold members will earn extra Award miles with an elite mileage bonus.

Extra baggage allowance*We understand you may need extra baggage from your shopping trip; you are entitled to extra baggage allowance when travelling on Kuwait Airways flights. Gold members are entitled to an additional 30kgs of baggage and Silver members, 20kgs.

* Not applicable on North American destinations and other destinations where the piece concept is applicable.

Silver and Gold – join the EliteMembership BenefitsSpecial privileges are offered to Silver and Gold members to ensure you can travel in the most comfortable way.

Fast Track immigration at London Heathrow Airport

Elite members, when traveling Kuwait Airways even in Economy class, can benefit from a fast track immigration clearance service at London Heathrow Airport. Concerned members are invited to show their valid Oasis Club Gold and Silver cards while requesting this service. Elite members, traveling to London from Kuwait, have to claim this service on board. Elite members, who are traveling out of London, are requested to approach Kuwait Airways check-in counters at London Heathrow Airport.

Fast Track Immigration at Kuwait International Airport

Elite members, traveling on Kuwait Airways flights, can use the fast track immigration service at Kuwait Intl airport even when traveling in Economy Class. Concerned members are invited to show their Oasis Club valid cards at the dedicated desk that has been set up at the immigrations check point in Kuwait International Airport. This desk is located on the far left after the security check.

Guaranteed seat for Gold membersYour travel plans will always go smoothly on Kuwait Airways - you are always guaranteed a seat in Economy, even on full flights. In order to benefit from this service you will need to have a ticketed full-fare ticket for the requested flight.

Lounge accessSilver and Gold members can relax and enjoy Dasman lounge facilities at the Kuwait International Airport.

Gold members are welcome at all Kuwait Airways lounges around the world when travelling on a Kuwait Airways flight.

Gold members are entitled to invite one guest into the lounge.

Priority Airport Check-in Silver and Gold members are invited to check-in at the business class check-in desks at all Kuwait Airways destinations, when travelling in economy class.

Priority Baggage Handling Checked luggage will receive priority tags ensuring the quickest possible arrival on the luggage belt.

Priority for Gold and Silver membersA priority desk for faster immigration clearance in Kuwait shortens waiting times and it allows for a smoother trip through the airport. The desk has been set up at the immigrations check point in Kuwait International Airport. In addition to First and Business class passengers, Oasis Club Silver and Gold members travelling in Economy Class on Kuwait Airways are also invited to the priority desk. The mentioned desk is located on the far left after the security check. Concerned Oasis Club members are invited to show their valid Oasis Club Silver or Gold card.

Priority BoardingSilver and Gold member can benefit from priority boarding on all Kuwait Airways flight.

Priority Phone/Fax Check-inElite members who are travelling out from Kuwait in all classes may choose to check-in by phone 4342224 or fax 4342223 between 0700 hours and 2200 hours.

If you are travelling the next day, you must contact our priority phone/fax check-in service for flights departing not later than 1400 hours the following day.

If you are travelling on the same day, you must send your requests at least 3 hours before flight departure time.

The reporting time is 1 hour prior to departure flight. Boarding passes can be collected from First Class counter #2 that is located in First Class area Zone 1.

Priority WaitlistOasis Club elite members who wish to get on a Kuwait Airways flight that is full will be placed on the priority waitlist.

Preferential seatingThis privilege is exclusively for Oasis Club members on flights where seat reservations are possible. The first few rows of the Economy Class cabin are reserved for Oasis Club members.

Dedicated Elite deskWhile we value all our members, Gold and Silver Oasis Club ard holders are entitled to priority service at Oasis Club Customer Service Centre located in Sharq, Kuwait City

Reconfirmation not requiredTo make your journey hassle-free, Oasis Club elite members no longer need to reconfirm flights.

Silver and GoldElite Qualification

Qualifying for Silver and Gold membershipKuwait Airways offers two elite tiers to its most frequent travellers: Silver and Gold. Members are entitled to a wide range of benefits offered exclusively to Silver and Gold members.

You can qualify for Silver and Gold by completing a certain number of flights or accumulating a certain number of level miles.

For membership in the Silver level, you will need to complete 20 flights within 12 months or accumulate 25,000 level miles. Level miles are the actual miles flown as well as any Business Class or First Class bonuses.

The Gold level is reserved for the most frequent travellers and will give access to an exclusive range of perks. You can attain Gold membership by flying at least 40 flights, or collecting 50,000 level miles in a 12 month period.

As soon as you accumulate the required number of miles or fligths, you will be upgraded. A new membership card and luggage tags will be sent to you.

A new qualifying year will begin automatically after the end of the previous and your level miles will reset to zero.

Travelling Business and First Class will help you qualify for elite membership. However, miles earned through partners and family mileage pooling program will not be taken into consideration.

Re-qualifying for Silver and Gold membership

If you wish to retain your elite membership, you have to meet the requirements to earning the qualifying level miles or segments within the next qualifying year.

Oasis Club Blue members may take as long as you need to earn the qualifying level miles or segments to qualify and upgrade to the elite membership.

Whenever you make a reservation with Kuwait Airways, simply quote your membership number reflected on your Oasis Club membership card. Present your membership card when you check-in at the airline counter to ensure that your Oasis Miles will be credited appropriately.

Miles Earned (miles flown)Oasis miles will be awarded to you according to the class of service you travel in, whenever you fly with Kuwait Airways. To ensure you enjoy your rewards sooner, you will be guaranteed 500 Oasis Miles for short trips of up to 500 miles.

Additional MilesYou may choose to enjoy extra privileges by earning additional Award miles with our partners. You will be informed on the special additional Award miles from our partner offerings and news updates published in the Oasis Club quarterly newsletter. For a full list of partners, please refer to the partner section.

Qualifying FaresYou will earn miles on all fares except for those designated ID/AD (discounted/rebate tickets) and other fares declared by Kuwait Airways as ineligible for mileage accrual.

You cannot earn miles on free redemption tickets.

Miles ValidityTo give you as much time to earn your miles as possible, Oasis Club Award Miles have a validity of 3 years starting the date of the transaction. Level Miles are valid till the end of the qualifying year that covers the date when the concerned transaction occurred.

Redeeming Oasis MilesFor your convenience, you may redeem your Oasis Miles for flights Awards to your selected destinations with Kuwait Airways. You may refer to the destinations indicated in Table 4 on the miles required for redemption.

You can redeem your Oasis Miles online or contact the Oasis Club Customer Service for assistance. *

To give you maximum flexibility in using your miles, you may either redeem a one-way or roundtrip ticket. A one-way is priced at 50% of the price of a roundtrip ticket.

*For any change in the booking 2500 miles will be deducted as an administration fees. Redepositing miles for an issued ticket 5000 miles will be deducted as an administration fees. Miles will not be re-deposited for lost voucher.

For example, a roundtrip from Kuwait (region GCC and Iran) to Dubai (region GCC and Iran) will require 15,000, 30,000, and 45,000 miles if you choose Economy, Business, and First Class respectively. A roundtrip from London (region Europe) to Bangkok (region Asia) will require 80,000 miles if you fly on Economy Class. A one-way travel will require only 50% of the miles indicated.

Redeeming for Flight UpgradeUpgrade your flight from Economy to Business Class or Business to First Class and utilise your miles to fly more comfortably with Kuwait Airways.

Flight upgrades are available on issued paid full fare tickets only and this is strictly subjected to availability. (Conditions may be applicable for specific routes).

Redemption Options One-ways: You save 50% of the listed miles required during your one-way travel – a substantial saving indeed!

Stopovers: Your redeemed ticket allows you the freedom for transit stopovers whenever you travel between regions, so that you may prolong your holidays whenever you want (One stopover only is allowed per redemption).

Redeeming for Open Jaw TravelTo provide you with greater travel flexibility, you may utilise your miles to redeem for open jaw airtickets that allows you to travel to one destination, and return from another, whenever you travel between regions (One open Jaw only is allowed per redemption).

Redeeming for Award TicketsShare the hospitality of Kuwait Airways with your family and friends by redeeming your Oasis Miles to travel with them.

Send a signed authorisation letter of request to Kuwait Airways Customer Service Department and list the beneficiary name (s), the booking classes, the itinerary and the date of travel. You may contact the Oasis Club Customer Service Representative for more details.

Flight Award or UpgradeYou may select from the following options:

1) Visit the Oasis Club Customer Service Center at Al Shorouq Tower in Kuwait City.

Managing Oasis MilesTo ensure you receive all your Oasis Miles, your membership number must be quoted when making a reservation or a purchase, and your Oasis Club membership card must be presented each time you check-in.

Miles RegistrationOur system automatically registers and keeps track of the flights you have taken with us. Your Oasis Miles earned will be credited to you accordingly.

In the event your earned miles are not credited accurately, you may contact the Oasis Club Customer Service Center and provide the following details to expedite your claims: • Your full name• Your membership number• Tickets and boarding passes as proof of travel (clear photocopies are acceptable). Flight departure date less than six months of the date of your claim is accepted only.

Mileage StatementsYou will receive a transaction statement of your Oasis Miles on a quarterly basis and a breakdown of each flight activity date and respective award/level miles earned.

Oasis Club Online*Oasis Club members may choose to check your miles online from a secured access, submit enquiries and requests for award tickets or upgrades. Go to www.kuwaitairways.com and select Oasis Club.

Terms & ConditionsKuwait Airways Oasis Club Terms & Conditions1. Kuwait Airways has the right to terminate the Oasis Club Program at any time.2. Kuwait Airways reserves the right to amend or terminate the Program and any Awards privileges and

Partner relationships with or without prior cause or notice to Members or Applicants.3. Kuwait Airways will not be held liable for any loss or damage as a result of such changes or termination

of the Program.4. All Benefits and Awards are offered subject to Kuwait Airways conditions of carriage and are subject to

availability and change without notice. Any service provided by Kuwait Airways, its Partners or Agents will be subject to any applicable Treaty such as the Warsaw Convention or other laws, which may in certain cases, govern the Member’s contract for carriage by air.

5. Oasis Club miles have an expiry date of 3 years after the date of the accrual. If no mileage from any source is posted to an Oasis Club member’s account for 3 consecutive years, the account is subject to termination, including forfeiture of all accrued mileage.

6. Kuwait Airways reserves the right to make Oasis Club Bonus Miles and promotional offers available to members based on flight activity, geographic location, program participation, or other information supplied by the member.

7. Kuwait Airways reserves the right to communicate the Program in any language it deems appropriate.8. All mileage and subsequent awards must be earned and used according to the rules and guidelines in

this Member’s Guide. Kuwait Airways has the final say as to whether an itinerary qualifies for Oasis Club travel awards.

9. Abuse of the Oasis Club program (including failure to follow program policies and procedures, the sale or barter of awards or tickets and any misrepresentation of fact relating thereto or other improper conduct, as determined by Kuwait Airways in its sole judgment, including, among other things, violation of the tariffs of Kuwait Airways or any partner airline participant in the program, any untoward or harassing behaviour with reference to any Kuwait Airways employee or any refusal to honour Kuwait Airways Airlines employees or representatives’ instructions) may result in cancellation of the member’s account and future disqualification from program participation, forfeiture of all mileage accrued and cancellation of previously issued but unused awards. Any violation of these rules may result in confiscation of tickets at any time (including en route) and the payment by the Oasis Club member or passenger of the full applicable Y, C, J, F or P fare for any segment travelled on program award tickets that have been misused. In connection 22 23 with the enforcement of any of the terms and conditions governing the Oasis Club program, Kuwait Airways Airlines reserves the right to take appropriate legal action, as it deems necessary, and to recover damages, attorneys’ fees and court costs.

10. The Oasis Card is not a credit card nor does it constitute any form of value.11. Kuwait Airways reserves the right to interpret and apply the policies and procedures communicated in

the terms and conditions. All determinations by Kuwait Airways shall be final and conclusive in each case. These terms and conditions supersede all previously issued terms and conditions.

12. From time to time, the data you have furnished to Kuwait Airways may be provided to Oasis Club Partners in the travel industry to enhance your travel experience and may be used to bring you relevant and valuable offers from these Oasis Club Partners. If you do not wish to use it for these purposes, please contact the Kuwait Airways Member Service Center.

13. Except as otherwise explained below, mileage credit is not transferable and may not be combined among Oasis Club member (other than the Family Mileage Pooling Program), or conveyed by any means to anyone.

14. At this time, the Oasis Club is a free program. However, Kuwait Airways reserves the right to charge a membership fee should it so desires at some future date.

15. If the card is lost, stolen or becomes damaged beyond use the member should notify the Oasis Club Manager at the Customer Service Center in Kuwait. At its discretion Kuwait Airways will replace the card as soon as possible against an administrative fee worth 2500 Award miles. Until a replacement is available, the member should continue to ensure that their membership number is added to all reservations, and is required to retain all passenger coupons and boarding passes for eligible flights in order to claim retroactive credit.

16. If Oasis Club team fails in any case to communicate - through Oasis Club available channels of communication -with the members, then Oasis Club is not responsible about the consequences of such situation. In this case members are responsible about: the follow up of their account balances, their profile and correspondence addresses update, etc

Enrolment in the Oasis Club Program17. The Oasis Club program is open to any individual aged 2 or above, other than Kuwait Airways staff

(unless they are travelling with eligible full fare tickets) who have completed an enrolment form. Member will receive his/her membership only after registering the first flight.

18. Corporations or other legal entities cannot be enrolled as members.19. Only one person may be enrolled per Oasis Club account. An individual may have only one account and

that must be in is/her real (legal) name. Membership will be listed under the participant’s full name including title (Mr., Ms., etc.) and middle initial. To receive flight credit, the name on the ticket must match the name on the member’s account exactly.

20. Membership is non-transferable.21. Retroactive credit will be given for flights taken 6 months prior to enrolment in addition the date of retro-

claim submittal, if sufficient proof (original boarding pass and ticket) can be produced to the Kuwait Airways Member Service Center. In addition, Kuwait Airways has the full right to postpone the retro-claim process until the complete data related to the claimed transaction are available in the appropriate tracking systems.

Earning Flight Miles22. Only published fares on Kuwait Airways qualify for mileage credit with the following exceptions:

frequent flyer program/discounted award travel, free, no value, agency/industry discount tickets and any other fares that are from time to time declared by Kuwait Airways to be (i) eligible for mileage accrual at a reduced rate or (ii) ineligible for mileage accumulation.

23. Flight cancellations due to any condition that Kuwait Airways cannot control, including but not limited to weather delays, will not be granted award mileage credit.

24. You must actually travel to earn Oasis Club flight mileage.25. In case of upgrades to First or Business Class, Oasis Club mileage credited will therefore be awarded based

on the purchased fare and not on the actual class of service flown.26. While Kuwait Airways and our other Oasis Club Airline Partners make every attempt to provide accurate

credit or mileage, it is the member’s responsibility to retain necessary documents, such as boarding passes and ticket receipts, to be provided for retroactive credit.

27. If after a reasonable period Oasis miles for an eligible flight are not credited on a member’s mileage statement, or if a Member has a dispute concerning miles credited to his account the Member should send copies of the passenger coupon (ticket – passenger receipt coupon) and original boarding passes to the Oasis Club Manager in Kuwait. Members should retain file copies of all relevant documents for their reference. Retroactive credit will not be given for claims over 6 months after the date of travel or in situations where Members are unable to substantiate their claims.

Redeeming Miles for Oasis Club Award Travel28. All award travel must be via the routes of Kuwait Airways Airlines and Oasis Club Airline Partners. Awards

may be limited to selected routes or Kuwait Airways-coded affiliate flights.29. Award travel has no cash value and will not be refunded.30. Mileage award levels are subject to change at any time without notice. Travel restrictions to certain

destinations and additional blackout dates may be announced by Kuwait Airways at any time without notice.

31. You may redeposit any number of valid award vouchers (upgrade and ticket redemption vouchers) for a non-refundable administrative fee of 2,500 Award Miles per person, per voucher when all valid vouchers are from the same Oasis Club account and are presented at the same time. If the above mentioned criteria are met, Award Miles can only redeposit into the account from which they were redeemed. When refunding vouchers, some/all miles may expire and they will be non-useful anymore.

The validity of Upgrade and ticket redemption vouchers is 1 month only. Oasis Club Reward Tickets are valid for one year effective the date of its issuance. Other Kuwait Airways

Ticketing rules and conditions may apply. Issued Oasis Club Reward Ticket can be refunded against an administrative fee worth 5000 Oasis Club miles.

The Miles are also non refundable in the following cases: Expired Oasis Club reward vouchers/tickets, partially used reward tickets, lost or stolen reward tickets/vouchers. Tickets issued against expired & valid miles, only valid miles will be re-deposited after applying the above mentioned administrative fee.

32. All changes on the issued award voucher (Upgrade/ticket redemption voucher) may be done as per Oasis Club Terms and Conditions against an administrative fee worth 2500 Award Miles. Kuwait Airways ticketing rules and conditions may apply.

All kind of changes could not be done on issued tickets except the change of date and booking class that could be done after getting a confirmed flight re-booking and against an administrative fee worth 2500 Award Miles.

33. You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes, fees and surcharges and obtaining necessary travel documents for award travel. Kuwait Airways ticketing Rules and Conditions apply.
