Tour of Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery Saturday, September 15th, 12:30 pmThe Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery is a 17-acre historic landmark located in the heart of Santa Rosa. It was a burial site for early residents from the 1850s through the 1930s. Painstakingly restored by a group of volunteers after decades of neglect, the public is now invited to stroll the wooded paths and participate in docent-led tours that highlight local history and the many town pioneers who are buried there. Join us!

Walk and Picnic at Crissy Field Thursday, September 20th, 9:30 am The walk from Crissy Field to Fort Point offers gorgeous panoramic views of the city. It's a little more than a mile in each direction, and takes about an hour, depending on your pace and how much time you spend gazing at the scenery. Grab your walking shoes and soak in the beauty of the city on this leisurely walk in San Francisco!

Experience

Marissa is a member of our care services team. She attended Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts to obtain her credentials as a vocational nurse. Soon thereafter, she became a medication nurse at a senior living community and has remained in the industry ever since. When asked what drew her to senior living, she says, "My favorite part about working in this setting is being able to interact with the residents and be a part of what enhances their quality of life. I wanted to work for a company that focuses on resident’s care and well-being. Oakmont does this while also promoting employee growth and professional development. We are proud to have you on our team, Marissa!
