Jose Zurita, affectionately known as “JZ,” has been our Maintenance Director since November 2017. He has 30 years of experience in maintenance and has been in the senior living industry for 13 years. JZ is a humble and talented member of our team. Residents are always happy to see him at their door, with his smile and toolbox in hand! JZ is married and has two grown daughters and one son. He grew up in South Eastern Texas and as a child, he watched westerns instead of cartoons; they are still his favorite thing to watch. One of his hobbies

is fixing up cars. He owns a Camaro Super Sport muscle car and a 1986 Chevy side step truck. He also enjoys fishing for bass on the Delta, which is probably why his dream vacation would be a fishing trip on the Mediterranean coast. When asked what he likes most about his job, he said, “I work with a great team, and I love getting to know the residents and helping them in any way I can." He is a wonderful addition to our team and we are so thankful for his compassion and expertise!

Thought-provoking games and discussions to stimulate the mind and encourage engagement.

Classes and workshops that inspire creativity and reflect the interests of the residents.

Lifelong learning enables personal growth and stimulates and enriches the mind.

Fundraisers, drives, craft projects and community engagement to support those in need.

Opportunities to share fun and entertainment with neighbors and friends.

Gatherings to promote fellowship and spiritual connection.
