Transcript of NPACT America: A 21st Century Story of Success through Social Change
A Brief History
NPACT America began in 2009 with the
belief that more could and should be done
to provide meaningful work opportunities to
people with disabilities.
Corey Mayerlen, founder and CEO of NPACT
America, identified an opportunity to provide
drug testing equipment to state agencies
through the work of people with disabilities.
Prevalence
In recent years, drug and alcohol testing
has become commonplace in all sectors
of the private and public world. Recent
legislation has offered incentives to
businesses that ensure a drug free workplace.
Why Drug and Alcohol Testing
Necessity
For the most part, businesses and agencies
send their employees to an off site facility to
be tested. Most do not know that they can
conduct the vast majority of the drug and
alcohol testing process on site at a much
reduced cost.
Why Drug and Alcohol Testing
By setting up a competitive business model and following best
business practices, NPACT America quickly became the sole
provider of drug and alcohol testing equipment for the State of
Florida.
Today, NPACT America provides drug and alcohol testing
equipment to over 200 institutions and state agencies, designing
products to meet a wide variety of specification needs.
