These are intended to increase school spirit and encourage good school attendance on targeted dates that traditionally are not our best attendance days. Out first School Spirit Day is this coming Thursday, September 22. The theme is Superhero Day. This does not mean dress up like a superhero or wear a cape. It means that students are encouraged to wear any clothes that depict their favorite superheroes. For all spirit days, students can also choose to show school spirit by wearing Liberty spirit wear, or wear the school colors: red, white, and/or blue. We encourage every student and staff member to participate. Grandparents’ Luncheon We look forward to having grandparents join us for lunch on September 27 (student last name A- L) and September 28 (student last name M-Z) at their grandchild(ren)’s respective lunch times. Please see table below for lunch times. If you would like to do so, you may leave the cafeteria after finishing lunch, and take your grandchild to the book fair located just a short walk from the cafeteria in the portable. We ask that all students going to the book fair please return to class at least within 45 minutes following the start of their respective lunch times. This will allow students to access a full day of instruction on these days. PTA is also hosting a photo spot during lunch for children to take pictures with Grandparents for $5. Please return the flyer/permission slip if you would like your child(ren) to participate.
