Lynda EcclesExecutive DirectorLynda has served the Coupeville community for 2 years at the helm of the Central Whidbey Chamber of Commerce. As Executive Director, she manages a staff of two, and, with the generous help of twelve volunteers, works with the Board of Directors to carry out the many projects designed to develop local business and further improve the quality of life for the residents of central Whidbey Island. Hailing from San Diego, where she worked for a large non-profi t organization, Lynda fell in love with Whidbey Island through many years of vacation visits. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and playing golf.

Robin MartinAdministratorRobin Martin, Administrator, joined the HomePlace team March, 2010. Robin has spent the majority of her adult life working with the elderly and disabled, and has 28 years of experience working in assisted living and retirement communities.

Robin is a “hands-on” leader, and truly enjoys spending much of her time with the residents and their families. She can be seen helping with activities, at meal times, and with everything from making beds to moving furniture. She says memory care has allowed her to care for and connect with residents from a whole new perspective, which brings fun and laughter into her day.
