Don’t forget our get together for lunch at the Manly Wharf Bar on Thursday, 29 October, 2020 at Midday. There is the Thursday $10 steak deal and of course other options for those who don’t like steak. Anyone who doesn’t want to catch public transport, Manly has free parking for 2 hours in Whistler Street, Manly which is close to the Wharf. Please let Margaret Hood or Dorothy know if you intend to come. The Wharf Bar have closed all entrances except one. I have attached a separate file to let those coming know which entrance to use. We have not booked any tables so please enter singly and then queue to pur-chase your food as we have done on previous occasions. You will need to do a QR entry (for those with the provision on your phone) and also have a tempera-ture test. The next walk will be on Thursday, 5 November, Sydney Botanic Garden. We will meet at Wharf 3, Circular Quay at 9.30 am and walk into the Botanic Gar-dens to have morning tea at the Gardens Café. We will then do a walk through the Gardens stopping at Government House Gardens, the new display at the Calyx, the fernery, the succulents garden and many of the other Gardens high-lights. Bring lunch and a drink to have along the way. Please let John know if you intend to come. [email protected] or 0427 464 956. Don’t forget our next picnic on 19 November at 11.30 am at Kissing Point Park, at the junction of Charles and Waterview Streets, Putney. Bring your own chair, food and drinks. Perhaps if you have a book or jigsaw that you would like to swap bring that along too! There is also a barbeque! Please let either Margaret Hood 0438 952 207 or Dorothy 0417 270 897 know if you intend to come. Thank you again Leon for your contribution to the Newsletter.
