team member Scotty Greene took it upon himself to unknowinglyexert great influence in getting the couple to quickly vacate the

premises, and it is doubtful that we will see them again anytime soon.

Former ATAG regulars Jimmy Matthew and GeoffFitzpatrick made a rare appearance to participate in the daysmatch, and Rick Eaton and Lester Mitts made cameoappearances on the porch after the match, with Mitts even staying onuntil evenings end with an apparent gate pass.

The ATAG Rules Committee has ruled that last weeks LowNet winner Frank Corrigan would still be entitled to his winningsdespite not staying around for the conclusion of the match. Aftermuch deliberation, the Committee decided that Corrigans win wasa lifetime event in that the chances of his pulling off such afeat again in his lifetime were pretty much nil. Therefore,

Corrigan may pick up his stash, or rather prize money, atthe ATAG Will Call Counter upon presentation of his ATAG Tourcard and a photo ID.

And, speaking of winnings, this weeks Low Net winnerDavidDanzig was seen ebulliently waving the twenty one dollarbills in his hand as he was leaving, mumbling something aboutgoing to a Cheetah Club, whatever that is.

On the day prior to the match, the Commissioner took somegood natured ribbing via a flurry of e-mails from fellow

ATAGers commenting on the Commissioners career roundof77 on the first day of the Anderson Cup

Tournament. (These comments are on file and may be drawnupon from time to time by the Commissioner when it is to hisadvantage to do so.)

Thats it for this week. See you next week when we take on thestubborn back nine. The first tee time will be around 4:30 pm

for those who can make it. THERE ARE ONLY 3 MOREMATCHES IN THE 2006 SEASON, and like last year, a final18 hole round has been proposedeither Tuesday,October 24, or another day that same week which is thelast week of daylight savings time. Majority will rule.
