NICE field team feedbackCommissioner
perspectives....negatives• Growing awareness but not complete• Not sure how to use them• Need tailoring for use quality standards as a CQUIN• Comments on alignment to the provisional CCG
Outcomes Indicators Set• Concerns that the volume of quality standards will
overwhelm the capacity of the health and social caresystem to respond
• Perceived “burden” of data collection esp. for providers• Need to know that a dialogue is in place with CQC,
OFSTED and NHSLA
Our commissioning panel said• I'm using your excellent end of life care tool for a report
going out to the twenty CCGs supported by GEMCSU….
• A really helpful document - we are about to look atextending patient choice locally for IVF which this reallysupports
• It’s easy to follow and convert into practice and I thinkthat the cost impact assumptions are reasonable. (ACS)
• I think it is clear and the SfC would hopefully supportdiscussion with LATs. (Sickle cell)
