The year 2009 has just passed by and in

spite of lot of obstacles i.e exorbitant

increase in the price of raw material and

acute shortages, we were able to beat all

our previous record sales not even once

but, thrice in the year 2009. This really

calls for the congratulation to all the

members of Tops family.

Setting and achieving small terms goals builds confidence

amongst us to set and achieve higher goals.

All this leads to set a vision for the organization, to achieve

long term and wider perspective.

During the current financial year i.e. 2010-2011 let us all

set our own goals with a higher vision for the organization

and let us achieve them with dedication and commitment.

It gives me immense joy to report that

2009 was a fantastic year for all of us

when we have beaten all our previous

records continuously for three months.

What makes me smile everyday even more is the content

thought of now 2010 is going to shape up for us. The

reason I feel so confident about the year ahead of us is the

fact we have a vision. As an organization we have a good

Management team and no dearth of leadership.

The need for leadership and vision increases in direct

proportion to the degree of change we experience. I have

my reason to believe that a vision can not only drive

management, but the entire Company to move in the

direction they have decided to move in to. Once the mind

is made up and we are determined, a vision to guide it

through then nothing can stop us, and sky is the limit.

RESOLUTION 2010Think Realistically: Be realistic in all the matter which are

linked with performance of ours and our team in order to

achieve our vision with positive thinking.

Set Goals: More often than not, people tend to give up on

resolutions thinking they have set them too high. Give yourself

a goal to follow, and stick to it as much as you can. When you

tell yourself you are working at achieving something you tend

to give it a better shot.

Think Positive: The way you think does make a difference to

your life. Try reading positive quotes and implement them as

much as you can in your daily routine.

Make a list: Write down the goals you want to achieve.

Reading this list every day will remind you what you need to

accomplish.

Don't Fret: Not achieving what you wish to accomplish may

seem daunting at times, but don't let that slow you down. Being

obsessed over achieving your goals won't help you one bit.

Don't Over-Do it: Trying to do everything at once make it seem

all the more difficult. Start with the most important task and

keep a few for every month.

Treat Yourself: Allow yourself to imagine. Small as it may be,

congratulate yourself on having met a goal.

Visualize: Allow yourself to imagine finishing what you wish to

achieve. Visualizing is a powerful tool that can be of great

help.

Don't be Scared: Don't let the fear of doing something new

hold you back. Push yourself to try it at least once and you will

think great about yourself for it later. Even if you fail first time,

DO NOT GIVE UP.

EDITOR'S NOTEIt has been really a great pleasure to bring out the 5th Edition

of our in-house Magazine “ G.D. Foods Expressions”. As I

always bring about a new topic for our magazine and this time

it is on vision 2010 as we have just entered in the next decade.

The Year 2009 passed with a positive note when we crossed

many land-marks in spite of lot of obstacles. This time again

we must set some new Resolutions for the year 2010.

Some of the suggested resolutions are as under, which I hope

you all will adhere to.

I have always been feeling good to express my views through

our most popular in house Magazine “Expressions”. We have

just entered in to a New Year 2010 and keeping in mind our

good past achievements during 2009-2010 (Financial Year),

which were as a result of contribution from all our

departments, I extend my heartiest congratulations to one and

all.

The power of “Vision” derives from its ability of capture hearts

and minds of all the members of the Organization by setting

and achieving higher goals. It does not only satisfy an

individual but also creates positive environment amongst all

the team members, as the purpose of the vision, after all, is to

stimulate action through motivation and achieve results. If a

vision is to shape the future and drive actions, then the leaders

and others must communicate it broadly, consistently and

continuously until it becomes the integral part of our culture.

The beginning of the year 2010 will see some jubilation in

G.D. Foods Family with the dawn of advertising in Electronic

Media, which will surely help to broaden Consumer base of

our products. I am sure we all will set higher goals and achieve

the same in 2010 to fulfill the vision set by our

chairman Shri B.M. Seth.
