Newsletter Term 5, Week 5

Another sunny week has passed—it seems like time flies! We hope that you all had wonderful times with the members of your household celebrating and remembering the valiant soldiers of our past and present who give up so much for our country, On VE Day the children went to our Year 1 area where the Owls and Elephants had planted potatoes to remind them of all the hard work that goes into keeping our country going. Of course, not all the children can be here to harvest the veg-

etables, but we did want to send pictures out so you can see how successful you’ve been. Well done, Year 1!

We are all aware that with the government’s latest announcement regarding schools in Term 6, many of you will have questions and queries at this time. The Trust will be releasing a letter to all

parents and carers on Monday 18th May, outlining in detail the plans we have been so busy making all week.

I love the alphabet! So much so, that last time I was on one of my walks for my daily exercise, I managed to make a list of everything I saw, from the letters A-Z. I couldn’t find a Z or an X sadly, but I tried my best! I’m wondering, if you could either go into your garden (and around your house) or next time you’re out with members of your family make a list of things you can see and find out whether YOU can fill the alphabet! Let me know what you find!
