Severe delays have been caused after a crash took place involving a car and a metrolink tram. The crash took place just outside exchange quay

What were your thoughts when the crash first happened?

I didn’t know what had happened. I don’t think anyone knew what was going on. The tram just stopped.

When did you find out that the tram had actually crashed?

Well, I heard that it had crashed when I heard people talking about it.

Did anybody seem worried?

Not really, because nobody was injured, people were just looking out of the window at the car that was involved in the crash.
