Geometer’s Sketchpad is a mathematics program that builds and investigates models, objects, figures, diagrams, and graphs.
It is primarily used with Geometry ideas but can be applied to many other areas.
Students can create shapes and manipulate them without having to start over and focus more on the mathematics rather than building or creating a shape.
Classroom activities are available for download or purchase from the GSP Resource Center located at http://www.dynamicgeometry.com/
With thorough knowledge of how GSP works, many images like this can be created.
Geometer’s Sketchpad is available to purchase from the Key Curriculum Press website.
Key Curriculum Press is the leading distributor of GSP.
There are several purchasing options that are available depending on the amount of users. Such packages are for single-user, 10-user lab, unlimited-users, or several other options.
Spanish versions are also available. The costs range from $40 (single-user) to $3500
(unlimited-user school site license with workshop)

Me In this application, you are given instructions to try to match the curves as well as you can. This is supposed to show students how to negative and positive numbers work. It helps students learn about velocity and rate of change.

In this application, students get to play with sliders. They get to understand what each component of a line can change. They move a point in and out to see what changes and why.
