Instructors

Casey Batenhorst

Casey Batenhorst is a mechanical engineer with nearly a decade of experience as a project manager in the Building Perfor-mance Group at Karges-Faulconbridge, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing the commissioning, retro-commissioning, and test and balance projects at KFI. Casey is

certified as a NEBB TAB Certified Professional and Build-ing Systems Commissioning Certified Professional.

Stephen Wiggins

Stephen Wiggins is an Associate Part-ner at Newcomb & Boyd. He is the past President of NEBB and former chairman of NEBB’s BSC committee. He has more than 30 years of experi-ence in Building Systems Commis-sioning. He has been working in the built environment since 1975.

Stephen owned a mechanical and electrical company for eight years. Prior to that he worked for the United States Air Force at base level and headquarters AFCE-SA as the commissioning and retro-commissioning expert. He has master mechanical and electrical con-tractor licenses and is a co-author of NEBB’s Design Phase Commissioning Handbook.

Cancellation Policy Cancellation by registrants, regardless of reason, will be subject to a $250 service charge to cover NEBB’s expenses. A refund of the prepaid

registration will be made less the $250 service charge.

No shows or late cancellations (those persons registered for the seminar who do not cancel 14 days prior to the seminar and subsequently do not attend the course) will forfeit the entire registration fee unless a replacement can be found.

CERTIFICATION AND EXAM PROCESS:

A STEPPED APPROACH

Professionals who desire to achieve the BSC CxCT certifi-cation and who want to sit for the exam after of the CxCT training seminar on Saturday, April 29, 2017 are required to be in compliance with and complete all certi-fication requirements and processes BEFORE attending the training seminar. If you plan to sit for the BSC CxCT exam on Wednesday April 29, 2018 the Application for Candidacy the certifica-tion process must be started well in advance.

1. To obtain CxCT certification and exam information,

please email [email protected].

2. Deadline for receipt of CxCT Applications for Candi-

dacy: Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Last-minute applica-

tions and walk-ins to the exam will not be accepted.

3. Pre-requisites must be met and the CxCT Application

for Candidacy must be submitted for approval and the

certification application fees paid prior to attending

the seminar. Once approved, the Candidate will re-

ceive payment information for the CxCT paper-based

written exam.

5. CxCT Certification Fees

Application for Candidacy fees and exam fees are sepa-

rate from the training seminar fees, publications or any

training-related items.

All exam-related fees are final but can be transferrable.

6. Because a Candidate’s paper-based exam results

are entered into Kryterion, NEBB’s online exam pro-

cessing center, Candidates are required to set up a

profile on Kryterion in advance of sitting for the

CxCT exam.

Instructions on the process will be sent.

Results for paper-based exams take longer to

obtain due to the nature of the process.
