The Elora Gorge is one of the most beautiful and spectacular natural areas in the Grand River valley.
The Grand River rushes through the gorge, which has
22-metre high cli�s. Riverside trails (with safety
barriers) and scenic overlooks provide hikers with
stunning views. Far below, kayakers and tubers make
their way through the rapids.
Note that safety warning signs are posted throughout
the park. Exercise caution and stay on the trails. Stay
away from the edge of the gorge and do not climb
over safety fences or barriers.
Our sta� is here to make your visit as enjoyable as
possible. Should you have questions, please do not

We o�erplenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.
CampingElora Gorge o�ers serviced and
unserviced campsites, as well as
larger sites for organized groups. Up
to six people are permitted per
campsite. Check-in is after 2 p.m. and
check-out is before noon.
SplashpadA 2,174 square foot splashpad is ideal
for an afternoon with small children.
Surrounding the splash pad is a
perimeter walkway so parents can
watch their children play from a safe
and dry distance. Families looking to
swim can visit the nearby Elora
Quarry Park at no additional cost.
FishingSince 1989, over 500,000 brown trout have been
stocked in the Grand River between Fergus and West
Montrose, which includes the section through the
park. This stretch of the Grand has attained a
well-deserved reputation as one of the best brown
trout �sheries in North America.
Tubing
Experience an exhilarating ride down the Grand River
on an inner tube. Tubers must register at the
concession, purchase a wristband and wear proper
safety equipment, which is rented at the concession
on a �rst-come, �rst-served basis. River �ows are
monitored daily and the activity can be suspended
without notice during periods of high river �ows. For
more information about hours and season,

AlcoholA total alcohol ban is in e�ect for the entire park season. Alcohol is not permitted at any time, including on all registered campsites and in day-use areas.

WeatherBe aware of your surroundings and monitor the latest conditions for active weather. Seek appropriate shelter during severe weather during the day or night.
Quiet Hours11 p.m .to 7 a.m. No excessive noise at any time.
PetsPets must be kept on a leash at all times and cannot be left unattended.
We welcome group events such asfamily reunions, corporate picnicsand weddings.
The 2,174 square foot splashpad is sure to delight.
