Over Lockdown
We closed on 20th March for lockdown.
Helen, Sharon, Karen S and Emma S
opened our doors on 21st April to support
the Little Elves that needed us at that
time. We are pleased we were able to
support so many of our families at this
difficult time.
Thank you
We would like to say Thank you to all our
Little Elves and what a pleasure it has
been to see you all over the last year. You
have all flourished and we are proud to
play a part in your journey. Thank you for
your kind End of year gifts. We look for-
ward to seeing what the next year brings.
Facebook group
It has been amazing the response we had to
our Facebook Group over the lockdown. It was
lovely to keep in touch and see what our Little
Elves were getting up to with out us. It was
great to see you all using your home learning
pack resources. https://www.facebook.com/groups/932055197165747/
Nature
We went on quite a few walks to the
woods and building dens, we searched for
bug houses and hotels!, we had 10 cater-
pillars turn into butterflies, we made a va-
riety of different crafts and most im-
portantly had lots and lots of fun along the
way.

• Phone 625332 if your child won’t be attending for any
reason, do NOT email Helen as she doesn’t work every
day.
• Label ALL items of clothing (including spares), book
bags and lunchboxes.
• Chat to staff anytime if you have a query or concern,
that’s what we’re here for!
• Use your child’s communication book as a means of
giving and receiving information.
• Use our Sharing Star to let us know what your child’s
achievements they have made or events you are
celebrating.
• Ensure that cool blocks are included in lunchboxes and
that lunches are made no earlier than 7.30am to be
eaten on the day of consumption, in adherence with
environmental health guidelines.
• Pay fees on time! The late fee charge will apply after 2
weeks.
• Bring your child to pre-school if they are unwell or have
a temperature. They need to be excluded for 48 hours
after their last bout of sickness or diarrhoea.
• Include nuts or items containing nuts in packed lunches.
• Bring in your own toys as they can get lost or broken.
• Enter the building whilst on the phone.
• Include grapes unless they are cut in quarters (we
do this at snack time).
• Park in the disabled bays. They are clearly
marked. The Parish Council will take note of the
licence plates of any cars parked in these bays
unless you have a disabled badge.

Children
We had 57 children return to Little
Elves this term. We were excited to
see everybody and have had a lovely
time carrying out activities. Well
done to all our Little Elves coping
with the changes.
Staff
All staff returned on 1st June, although
slightly apprehensive , they have thor-
oughly enjoyed it and made the setting
and exciting place to be. We could not
have opened to so many children without
our fantastic team—Thank you.
Our Leavers
We were very pleased to be able have 6
Leavers Ceremonies for our children moving
onto Primary Schools in September. Although
it was a very different ceremony, the children
did fantastic and received their certificates,
learning journals and presents. We wish
them Goodluck on their new adventures.
