DEAR CITIZEN OF KRISHNARAJAPURA,We humbly submit that we have shown significant progress in the sectors like the water supply, housing, education, fly overs, Hakku Patras, Social Development, Law and Order etc., We have firmly stepped on to the path of development and have gone a distance further.

CONSTRUCTION OF THOUSANDS OF HOUSES n   Residents belonging to various communities

including SC/ST, 1452 houses have been constructed; construction of another 634 houses is in progress.

DRINKING WATER: DREAM COMES TRUE n   Cauvery water scheme to reach each and every

house by establishing GLRs at A Narayanapura and Ramamurthy Nagara. GLR project has begun in Nagareshwara Nagenahalli. 503 bore wells drilled since 2008 and connected to the houses. Tanker water supply during acute shortage of water.

n   Underground system; a clean atmosphere created.

n   UGD works at a cost of Rs. 140 crores and 80% works are complete.

REJUVENATION OF LAKES n   Lakshmanamurthy Nagara lake, Koudenahalli

lake, Seegehalli lake, Chikka devasandra lake, Gangashetty lake, B Narayanapura lake, Doddanekkundi lake and Vibhutipura lake development is undertaken.

EDUCATION REVOLUTIONn   Classrooms for Krishnarajapura First

Grade College and other schools. 800 seater auditorium for the college is under construction; PG centre to the college; proposal for granting Rs. 4.00 crores for basic infrastructure; NAAC peer committee gave a `B’ ranking.

n   Through ABHAYA, a scheme launched by Sri N.S. Nandiesha Reddy himself, financial assistance to the needy poor students; ISKCON midday meal scheme for the rural poor students.

n   Indoor stadium project launched in MEG extension.

n   ITI sanctioned to Krishnarajapura. n   Sri Atal Bihari Vajapayee reading room at

Vijanapura. n   Fecilitation to the meritorious and sports

persons. n   Teachers are given smart cards and fecilitated. n   Bharata Bharati book distribution to school

libraries resulting in more patriotic fervor. n   Toilets in 25 Government schools. n   11 Anganavadi centres have been established.

n   Distribution of more than 25000 ration cards to BPL/APL/ Anthyodaya Anna Yojane; Dobhighat at Chikkabasavanapura; Weekly market place identified at a Government site. Koudenahalli, for those vendors selling at Kalkere in Ramamurthy Nagara; Stree Shakti Bhavana and Library at Kyalasanahalli; Granite flooring at Yogi Narayana Community hall at Anandapura; Library, Yoga building at Annasandra Palya.

n   Roads, UGD and basic infrastructure facilities in various Harijan Colonies. n   10 Gunta land for various communities for their cultural activities. n   Renovation / development of 26 Temples/Mutts/Ashramas under Aradhana Scheme

and special grants.

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMSn   Regional Transport Office at Medahalli n   BBMP help centres launched in own offices at

12 locations n   Three SUb-divisional offices at the rate of one

office to three wards. n   BEO office at Krishnarajapura Taluk Office n   44 Sakala services available at Horamavu

Nadakacheri. Proposal to launch Atalji Janasnehi Centres (Nada Kacheris) at Krishnarajapura and HAL.

n   Police Station at Chelikere. Sites allotted to Ramamurthy Nagara and Kottanuru Police Stations and constrcution work initiated.

ROADS & TRANSPORTn   The constituency had only 15% of the roads

asphalted in 2008, but now, it is 85% asphalted; UGD connected too.

n   Horamavu-Kalkere-Channasadnra Road, Ramamurthy Nagara Road, Kalkere Road, TC Palya Road, K Narayanapura - Nagareshwara Nagenahalli Road, Vignana Nagara - Ramesh Nagara Main Road, Vijanapura Road, Raghavendra Nagara - Hennuru Road all these have been newly developed.

n   Benniganahalli, Vijanapura (Sainik Bhavan entrance) have Railway underpass much to the relief of the people; FCI Godown - Old Madras Road & Krishnarajapura Whitefield Underpass works under progress.

n   Fly overs and underpasses at Hennuru cross road, Kalyananagara junction, Horamavu junction.

n   Skywalk near Muttumariyamma / Tin Factoryn   COnstruction of 14 Bus shelters.

MLA AREA DEVELOPMENTn   KR Pura extension and old extension roads,

Vaddarapalya village developed. Bhajana Mandir at HAL old extension; Grant to construction of Veterinary hospital at Krishnarajapura; KEB bill payment centre, senior citizen centre and Library at KR Pura old Police Station.

n   RO water purifications plants at two colleges. n   NIMHANS northern Campus building

construction launched at Kyalasanahalli n   New PHC at K Narayanapura n   More than 6000 people got free surgical

treatment under Vajapayee Arogyashree Programme.

n   Disubrsement of more than Rs. 3.50 crores under CM’s relief fund.

EFFECTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENTn   Wet waste processing unit:

Krishnarajapura will shortly have a 5 ton capacity biogas plant; from this 125 KG of biogas can be produced to serve 500 families everyday. All wards will have such plants.

n   Dry waste collection unit: Lands have been identified in 9 wards to launch this waste management system

MLA Sri N.S. Nandiesha Reddy has given away Rs. 50.00 lakhs from his own funds to construct 5 classrooms in the KR Pura First Grade College and also constructed 12 classrooms in Doddanekkundi Government School. ‘GOWRASRI’ is the scheme launched in memory of his parents Smt Gowramma and father Sri Srinivasa Reddy.
