• Kesha’s song starts off with ‘ wake up in the morning feeling like p diddy’(a successful rapper) and shows the artist waking up in the bath tub looking confused with one shoe on the floor which illustrates the lyrics of the party lifestyle Kesha has.

• Other lyrics fit the visuals, such as the images show Kesha being stopped by the police and getting into trouble. ‘now we go until they kick us out, but the police shut us down.’

• This is demonstrated by the police man cuffing her and holding her down onto the car. This shows that Kesha is rebellious who has little respect for authority.

• The cuts are quicker and faster during the chorus when the pace quickens and a dance beat is introduced which amplifies the lyrics; ‘ don't stop, make it pop, dj blow my speakers up.’

• Bright colours are used in the video to represent it is a pop video and the artist is dressed in typical teenager clothes such as shorts and a teeshirt which also symbolises the pop genre and relates to a younger audience.

• Close ups are used of Kesha looking directly into the camera to involve the audience and make them feel a part of the video and there's voyeurism because the direct gaze gives the audience an insight of Kesha’s carefree, party lifestyle.
