1960s• 1967- Hello, Goodbye by the Beatles. The song was at number 1 for 3
weeks in 1968. The video is a recording of live performance. The video debuted on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1967
1970s• 1975- Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. • Bohemian Rhapsody was at the top of the charts for nine weeks and
when re-released in 1991 it was at the you for 5 weeks. Its music was famous for practically inventing making music videos as we now know them. • 1977 - Bee Gees, Stayin' Alive. • The song is from the film Saturday Night Fever• They shot 3 different versions of the video (the
picture is the first one they shot.)
1980s• 1983 – Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. • The video features Bonnie Tyler clad in white, dreaming or fantasizing
about her students in a boys' boarding school. • 1984 - Bruce Springsteen by Born in the U.S.A. • The music video is just a live performance video. It had massive
commercial success album and one of the highest-selling records ever
1990s• 1991 – Nirvana's song Smells Like Teen Spirit • The video was shown on MTV and was one of the most played music
videos in Europe. It also received two awards from MTV 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Alternative Group' Rolling Stones put the video at 2rd of there 1993 list of "The 100 Top Music Videos"
