    MotoringPick-up theperfect shot

DRIVERS love taking pictures oftheir trucks. After all, it is part andparcel of the overall ownershipexperience, especially with theadvent of social media.

But capturing a good photo ismore than just whipping out yoursmartphone and clicking away. Itrequires patience, planning andsome out-of-the-box thinking.

To get your good truck photos tolook great, follow the steps belowand it is highly likely that the nextphoto you post will garner more“likes” than your recent lunch shot.

The urban settingWith its strong and bold lines,

the Isuzu D-Max is one of the mostrugged-looking vehicles on theroad.

To further accentuate its strongdesign, use an urban setting as abackdrop. Find a good spot to parkyour D-Max such as on a busystreet and use a long exposuresetting to capture moving imagesin the background.

Experiment with angles such asclose-ups and if you want tofurther ramp up the style andprofile of the pick-up, take a photowith a city backdrop.

Rough and ruggedNothing quite exemplifies the

beauty of a pick-up than a roughand rugged setting.

Venture past city limits and finda good off-roading spot where youcan snap photos of the D-Max in itselement.

Opt for spaces with a wide openbackground such as streams, amuddy trail up a hill or a smallriver that the D-Max can easilytraverse.

Try different compositions andbe ready to get dirty because goodphotographers should be willing torun, jump, climb and crawl to getthe photos they want.

The workhorseThe D-Max is more than just a

modern urban vehicle as it is alsoa great workhorse. You canemphasise the D-Max as aworkhorse with the rightbackdrop.

Think of places such asconstruction sites where theframes of the buildings offer aperfect backdrop motif for photos, especially if taken with the sun inthe background.

Orchards are good too and youcan pile freshly plucked fruits in

the back of the D-Max, as theyserve as great props.

Lifestyle and recreationPick-ups are the epitome of

lifestyle vehicles and that holdsespecially true for the IsuzuD-Max as its capabilities oftencorrelate with adventurousindividuals.

You can always pick a locationthat reflects your interests. Forexample, if you like fishing, find astill lake where you can getmirrored images that can lookparticularly beautiful at sunrise orsunset. Or if you are a diver, nothing beats an image of a D-Maxloaded with scuba gear facing apristine beach.

Alternatively, load a fewmountain bikes in the back oraround the truck the next time youhead off to a mountain bikingadventure and snap some shots atthe start of the trail.

Whatever your next adventureis, you can rest assured that theD-Max will be up to the task andcan show it off in front of acamera.
