“Robin Williams”

We’ve seen interactive music videos, but what about interactive lyric videos?

Released off Cee-Lo Green’s upcoming album, Heart Blanche, he describes the latest single, “Robin Williams”, as “…a homage to our humanity centered around the strength it takes to smile in the face of adversity.”

The video uses the familiar Google search functions to seemingly turn-out applicable, on-lyric findings across Web, Images, Shopping and Video tabs as users toggle back and forth between them.

An innovative, creative way to bring excitement to lyric videos – and keep users engaged through the whole song.

W.B.B.R Radio

A radio station created for and only for those who are journeying across the Williamsburg Bridge in New York City.

Created by ad agency Sid Lee for a Brooklyn-based record label called UNO! – the app broadcasts an upbeat song as you begin your trek across the famous landmark. Once you reach the halfway point, a calming track is triggered, allowing time for relaxation or reflection. A fun and unexpected use of GPS technology.

What are other small moments in your life or landmarks in your city that deserve a mini-playlist as you pass by?

The sleep better system is customizable. Sonically, it allows you to select the soundtrack to your sleep (sfx, music or audiobooks) which plays back through a high-quality blue tooth speaker. It also offers custom lighting options which help with your circadian rhythm.

Safe + Sound Modular Headphones

Concept headphones, designed by Gemma Roper, are being explored to minimize the risk of injury for cyclists who listen to music while on the road.

The headphones use bone-conduction to work and essentially play music through cheekbones, rather than eardrums, using soundwave vibrations.

This allows the listener to be more aware of their environment, but still enjoy their favorite playlist – even while wearing their helmet.
