characteristics of living things?

2. All living things have:a) An orderly structureb) Produce offspringc) Grow and developd) Adjust to changes

in the environment

3. What is an organism?

4. What are the processes life?

water from the outside. Animals must take in food & water. Plants make their own food but must take in water from the soil.

b) Digestion – the breaking down of food into a form that can be used

c) Respiration– the release of energy by combining oxygen with digested foods. This process produces energy. Water & carbon dioxide are also produced; they are the waste products of respiration
