Meter reading Correction for Meter Reading reason 21, 22, 11, 16

(Meter reading at Device Replacement, Device Modification)

I. Reading at Meter removal or Meter installation (MR reason 21, 22)

1. Log in to CRM Web UI link and Identify the Contract account or Business Partner.

2. Open Service Request Bill Correct.

Chose PM Activity Device Replacement/Modification as below.

Once PM Activity is changed the Meter particulars screen will enable Scheduled MR date field. Enter

Scheduled MR date of reading to be corrected.

3. Click button ‘Get MR Reading’ and the result will contain the Readings of Meter reading reason

21 and 22.

Tick the MR Correction flag Check box against the Meter reading to be corrected.Also enter MR reading

and Corresponding meterNote.

Click on ‘SAVE’.

Service Request Id will generated once order is successfully saved.

4. Click on Edit button and click ‘Reading Correction’.

After successful MR correction status will be changed to Meter reading corrected and Information

message will be displayed.

5. For Order completion Open request in Edit mode and change status to ‘Process Completed’.

NOTE: Device replacement/modification order can be created and completed at RA/JE ids

only. In this case there is no need to take any approval.

II. Correction of Reading entered on Device Modification (MR Reason

11,16 )

Identify Contract Account.

Click on work center Service Order Creation and chose Service request Bill correct.

Chose PM Activity Device Replacemnt/Modification.

Once PM Activity is changed, Meter particulars screen will enable scheduled MR date. Enter the

Scheduled MR date of Device modification and click ‘Get MR Reading’ button.

Current reading will be fetched from system. Set check box ‘MR Correction Flag’ against reading to be

corrected and enter Meter reading note and MR Reading.

Click ‘SAVE’ button.

Open request in Edit mode and Click ‘Reading correction’ button.

Once MR readings are successfully updated Message will be displayed and Status will be changed to

‘Meter reading Corrected’.

Now complete the order by selecting status as “Process Completed”.

Readings can be verified using Billing view of Installation tab provided in the CRM.

NOTE: Device replacement/modification order can be created and completed at RA/JE ids only. In

this case there is no need to take any approval.
