2018 AUSTRALASIAN MND SYMPOSIUM

Acceptance and Allocat ion

The Symposium Organiser, reserves the right to accept or reject any applicat ion at its absolute and unfettered discret ion with the return of any deposit paid in the event of a reject ion.

Sponsorship and exhibit ion packages, which may be limited in number, will be generally allocated in the order of the receipt of applicat ion forms. Allocat ion of sponsorship packages and exhibit ion spaces regardless of the preference indicated, and alterat ion of the floor plan is at the discret ion of the Symposium Organisers, whose decision will be final.

Booking and Payment

- All prices are quoted in Australian dollars - Sponsorship packages and exhibit ion spaces will be allocated only upon receipt

of a signed copy booking form (i.e. a first come, first served basis). - Confirmation will be sent together with a tax invoice for the required 100%

payment. The full amount plus 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax) is payable within 20 days of date of tax invoice. If payment is not received within this t imeframe, you relinquish your right to the requested sponsorship package and exhibit ion space.

- All payments should be made in Australian dollars by credit card or bank transfer.

- All payments due must be received by the Organising Committee prior to the Symposium.

- No sponsor will be allowed to set up their exhibit ion stand at the Symposium unt il full payment has been received.

- Sponsors may not assign or sublet any part of their exhibit ion space. - The Organising Committee may need to make changes to the floor plan;

however, changes will not be undertaken without prior discussion with the companies affected.

- Sponsors consent to their contact details being shared with Symposium suppliers and contractors.

Legal Responsibility

FightMND, the Symposium Organiser and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibit ion Centre (?the Organisers?) accept no responsibility for any act, omission or other default on the part of the Exhibitor/Sponsor during or in connect ion with the Symposium that results direct ly or indirect ly in any loss, damage, personal injury or death,. The Exhibitor/Sponsor agrees to indemnify the Organisers in respect of any claim and demands in respect thereof. The Exhibitor acknowledges that the Organisers are not responsible for any loss or damage to the Exhibitor?s property and that all Exhibitor material and equipment is the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor. The Organisers will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising out of a breach of this Exhibit ion/Sponsorship contract. In the event that the Symposium is cancelled or delayed through no fault of the Organisers, including but not limited to fire, flood, labour disputes, natural disasters, civil disorders, riots, insurrect ions, work stoppages, slowdowns or disputes, or other similar events then the Sponsor/Exhibitor shall not be ent it led to any refund or any claim for any loss of damage.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Cancellat ion Policy

Cancellat ions will be accepted in writ ing only. A cancellat ion not ice which must be received no later than 1 January 2018 will be subject to a 50% cancellat ion fee. Any cancellat ion not ice received after 1 January 2018 will be subject to a 100% cancellat ion fee.

Exhibitor Display Rules

- The Symposium Organisers shall determine the hours during which the trade Exhibit ion shall be conducted and the hours of access for Exhibitors, including any variat ions of access t imes as may be necessary.

- The allocated exhibit ion space must be staffed at all t imes during the exhibit ion and removal of any exhibit ion display must not commence unt il after the trade exhibit ion closes.

- All advert ising material, such as banners, must be displayed within the designated exhibit ion area.

- Excessive noise that inconveniences other exhibitors or the Symposium must be avoided.

- Exhibitors must not obstruct aisles, walkways, or exits. - While Exhibitors are encouraged to pursue novel methods of attract ing people

with their stand, pract ices disadvantaging other exhibitors or detract ing from the Exhibit ion are not permit ted.
