The world’s most senior gathering of shippers and logistics providers will be meeting in Melbourne, Australia in May 2018 at the combined Global Shippers Forum and International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA) Asia Pacific conference to discuss trade facilitation, international logistics challenges and other macro-trends affecting global trade. The event will be held as part of the MEGATRANS, Australia’s leading logistics and supply chain event with over 500 trade exhibitors. The Global Shippers Forum, based in London, is the world’s leading trade association for shippers engaged in international trade moving goods by all modes of transport. ICHCA is an independent, not- for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the safety, security, sustainability, productivity and efficiency of cargo handling and goods movement by all modes and through all phases of national and international supply chains. GSF and ICHCA activities centre on international logistics policy with major UN agencies including the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), International Labour Organisation (ILO), International Standards Organisation (ISO) and the World Customs Organisation (WCO). We are excited about the prospect of holding the 2018 meeting in Melbourne. WHO WILL ATTEND THE GLOBAL SHIPPERS FORUM IN 2018?

EVENT SCHEDULE

Recent GSF events have been held in Los Angeles, Montreal, London, Colombo and Canary Islands.

The event attracts delegates from the Americas, Asia, Africa, Europe, including shippers, shipper associations, multi-national freight forwarders, international trade consultants and Government agencies. Presentations have included representatives from the World TradeOrganisation (WTO), the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and other multi-Governmental organisations.

GSF2018 will be the biggest ever Global Shippers Forum event, with the conference programme anticipated to attract over 300 attendees including a large contingent of international delegates.
