MediaScouting Broadcast records audiovisual feeds and can compress them to one fifth of their size without lose of quality. Its scalable design allows the processing of hundreds of Satellite/TV/Radio/Webcast stations simultaneously and yet deliver processed streams with a delay of 2 minutes from broadcast time. MediaScouting Broadcast modular stor-age process can archive continuous streams to meet the needs of the customer with no limit to the number of streams or the years of streaming.

Natural language processing algorithms perform analysis on the textual metadata and expose hidden information in the data such as entities, and sentiment.

Retrieving content can be done by searching for keywords in the title, transcribed text or metadata of the available streams, enabling the instantaneous discovery of any rel-evant information from audiovisual streams.

BROADCAST MEDIA MONITORING

Search can be optimized with advanced parameters such as time period of broadcast, media type or a specific media channel. The parameters of the advanced search of each user can be saved and reloaded at any point, so users can do repeated searches on their topic of interest.

Additionally, user defined tags can be created and manually assigned to different clips for categoriza-tion, intra-platform sharing and automatic pub-lishing on any platform.

A statistical analysis of the broadcasted streams is created on the fly with the use of facets. Differ-ent categories of information such as viewed streams, tags, media type, time zone broadcasted (morni ng, afternoon, etc.) are used in generating the facets. Visualizations of the results range from traditional histograms to foam tree representa-tions.Individual Clip viewing is accomplished via a versa-tile and standards based video player, which allows cropping, downloading and sharing any relevant audio video feed, either to the client’s website or to social media platforms.
