• Proper control, tracking and monitoring of the system is required.

• Awareness and accountability should be created within the organization.

• Firms employing proper material management system are seen to have increased their overall efficiency by 35%.

• The wastage of materials should also be minimised during construction in order to avoid loss of profit for construction companies.

• Poor handling of construction materials affects the overall performance of construction projects in terms of time, budget (cost), quality and productivity.
