Current status

Halfway implementation (2013-2019) Roll-out of separate waste collection is expected to reach 400,000 households in 2016

Roll-out and intensive outreach campaign fully community based (862 communities in six districts), each districts has its own PIU

Construction of six transfer/sorting stations 2016-2017

Focus on kitchen waste to reach 240 t/d, quality moving to 80% organics (60% in mixed waste), other recyclables lag behind

Kitchen waste temporarily to existing restaurant waste facility

Smart Sanitation Information System (WMIS) launch May 2016
