Welcome to The Tabard Theatre Com-pany at Theatre on San Pedro Square

– and to our exciting 2013-2014 season – filled with many twists and turns, as you might expect from anything “13”.

I am especially excited because 13 is my fa-vorite number. So, I thought, let’s just go for it and do a season that has more than a few innovative ventures, including three new works we are creating in-house. That being said, we chose the theme Tabard with a Twist or a Turn! One way or the other, it’s going to be an exciting ride. It will be all the more exciting with you alongside.

So, buckle up, and check out this brochure of 8 productions! We are offering a 7-show sea-

son package with the opportunity to add the 8th at special discounted subscriber rates. Ad-ditionally, Nineteen Jazz Ensemble returns for three unique and exciting concerts.

Save the Date! We are having a special 13th season event on Friday, September 13th – we just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to embrace that date for this season of Twists and Turns! More about that to come soon – but not yet in this brochure. For now, just save the date!

Told with a fresh twist, presented in contemporary dress with an all-female cast, this Tony-award-winning musical strikingly brings to life the signing of the Declaration of

Independence. Contemporary staging and revolutionary casting give the musical’s passion-ate songs and quick-witted dialogue a new and exciting impact.

This return engagement of Kurt Gravenhurst in his stellar captivating performance as F. Scott Fitzgerald includes new scenes with music

by Jeremy Harris. When you arrive, a combo greets you with an invi-tation to dance to wonderful Jazz Age classics that sets the tone for this Gatsby-esque party. Soon “Scott” and “Zelda” join the party followed by your host taking the stage to reflect honestly and poignantly on his romantic, often amusing yet troubled life and the novel-in-progress he hopes will revive his forgotten reputation. The performance concludes with a casual conversation between you, Kurt and Jeremy.
