Upcoming Events

Each month, we will share with you information related to each goal:

Madison Station’s 3 Major Goals!

Goal 1: Academic Excellence (focusing on a child’s mind) Report cards will be coming home on October 12. Take some time to review your child’s report card with him/her. Reflect on the successes they’ve had during the nine weeks and set goals for the next nine weeks. Remember that academic goals should be based on each child’s individual needs. Encourage them to share with you their most enjoyable units of study as well as their most challenging. Talk about routines and organizational techniques that will help them manage school and all of the other activities in which they are involved.

Goal 2: Arts Integration (focusing on a child’s heart/soul)

We are always looking for opportunities to showcase the arts at Madison Station. Through the generosity of our PTO, Educational Theatre Inc. will present Beauty and the Beast to all of our students on October 6. What a treat for our students to get to see a live theater production while at school. The Beauty and the Beast story focuses on looking past outwardly appearances and getting to know people for their own special character traits.

Goal 3: Fitness and Wellness (focusing on a child’s body)

Students have been learning so much in P.E. about health and fitness. They have monitored their heart rates as they moved and learned about how exercise helps strengthen their heart. Some classes even made and tasted smoothies with fruit and fresh spinach that were surprisingly tasty.
