Mad Video Music Awards (V.M.A) are the biggest music annual event in Greece. They are awards of Greek music video clips. The winners are voted by all the people and the fans of the candidates
They are new, as they have started in 26th June 2004 with the motto “It isn’t a show, but a party”. They met huge success as the tickets were bought immediately.
Every year they had a different motto. Some of them:
• 2008: Act now• 2009: Be your own hero• 2011: dance, feel and get 2gether• 2012: Young Greece• 2013: Thank you for the music
Facts:• Helena Paparizou was nominated in 28 categories, while she has won 15 awards, more than any other artist!
• Sakis Rouvas was nominated for 24 categories, as he has won 15 awards. He is the only male artist with such success!
The awards continue until today with great success…
