Considerations- environmental and sun exposure- warping and cracking- water- longetivity of materials- design for reuse, recyclability and maintain-ance

- think of expansion joints- connecting materials (glue vs joints)- colour to heat exposure- insulation - footings and the substructure

Statue of Liberty-designed by Auguste Bartholdi-copper skin > iron skeleton (Gustav Eiffel)-copper oxidation (dark brown to geen)-corrosion occured > rust caused expansion, pulling rivets out -replaced with teflon coated stainless steel-regular inspections needed.
