Launching a groundbreaking health product into international markets
Using revolutionary science developed here in New Zealand, calocurb is a new weight management product aiming to
take a sizeable chunk of the $175B global weight loss and
weight management market.
We were engaged from day one, as calocurb’s brand,
marketing and technology partner. It was an enormous engagement that showed our true end-to- end capability.
Using a small cross-discipline team working in an agile method, we completed qualitative and quantitative
research, both domestically and in the US market. This
enabled us to define a fully-informed brand strategy, and build their communication

Creating a unique value digital experience for a legendary brand
Harcourts
Harcourts is one of New Zealand’s leading real estate brands, with over 850 franchisees across the globe. In spite of their successes, Harcourts were faced with an assortment of complicated legacy platforms that didn’t reflect their offline brand experience. For their business to continue to grow, they recognised that they needed to build a strong digital ecosystem to match their reputation.
The ambitious design and build of the new platform was led by Little Giant and has resulted in an entirely new evolution of their brand in the digital space, transforming the way the business treats lead acquisition and the overall customer journey within the Harcourts ecosystem.
More than simply an engaging brand experience, the new platform positions Harcourts as the market leader for industry insights, as well as providing meaningful geo-specific content and comprehensive demographic data by neighbourhood. With a domestic launch planned for the second half of 2018 and further international roll outs to follow, the solution was built with scalability front of mind.

Arizto engaged us to design and build an entirely new
product and manage its launch to market. We took a human-centred design approach, highlighting and
addressing key pain points within the traditional real estate
framework to build a superior, tech-enabled customer
experience fit for the digital age.
This experience needed to deliver real benefits to both
sellers and real estate agents, encompassing self-service tools allowing for enquiry, listing, marketing and then
managing the sale of a property.
We also built the brand identity and communications
strategy for launch, establishing market presence and
understanding of the business’ unique proposition.

Challenged with growing ecommerce sales
worldwide to €4bn by 2020, a 4x increase on 2017, adidas were looking for a global partner to help them drive
revenues via its most important store – adidas.com.
Isobar embedded more than 50 engineers and architects
from London, Sofia and Pune (India) within Adidas product
teams, tasked with building an agile methodology and process on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SCC)
platform.
By accelerating the adoption of an agile mindset, we were able to deliver more frequent ecommerce releases, thus
keeping pace with the changing digital habits of customers.

Isobar’s expertise in QA automation also drove a marked
improvement in code quality. This was important as so often agencies sacrificed quality for speed. We had to strike
a balance of both.
Average page load time, for adidas.com, rose by 47% year on year. Cart to order conversion jumped by 10.9% year on year. Adidas stated that the improvements are forecast to boost revenues by at leat 34 million euros in 2018.
We’re now taking the agile methodology that we’ve built
and started applying this to the adidas B2B offering,
growing our partnership further with the brand.
In short, we are delivering the global adidas brand
commerce experience, fast, in step with customers and in a way that allows us to innovate the offer seamlessly when
required.

Reimagining internal comms for NZ’s largest global exporter.
Fonterra is the market leader in dairy nutrition. With over
22,000 global users, their internal communications platform is vast and complex. From day to day
conversations to knowledge sharing to community polling,
Milkyway has powerful applications and boundless aspirations.
We partnered with Trineo to deliver research, digital strategy, user testing (via PlanitIT), UX design and front end
development for the next generation of the platform. The
project involved heavy integration with Salesforce, global
leader in customer relationship management solutions. A mix of standard and custom Salesforce components were
incorporated into Milkyway—a process that was both
challenging and rewarding. The result is an intuitive digital product that drives increased efficiency and a better quality
of communication within Fonterra.

Tennis Auckland came to us to put a new spin on the 2018
ASB Classic, to broaden its appeal beyond sports and tennis fans.
Our team developed the integrated campaign concept along with building the website. Everything hinged on the
creative approach - “A Touch of Classic”. We launched the
new look and message across all mediums, including digital and social, outdoor, event signage and print. This positioned
the tournament as the perfect crossroads of tennis, food &
beverage, entertainment, fashion and summer fun.

Redefining how companies access space.
Rocket Lab’s mission is to remove the cost barriers to
commercial space launches. Since its creation in 2006 by Peter Beck, Rocket Lab has delivered a range of complete
rocket systems and technologies that are set to
revolutionise access to our planets orbit.
Little Giant was engaged to design a brand experience that
captures some of the wonder and amazement of Rocket Lab’s revolutionary vision. In response we designed an
immersive and engaging digital experience combining
beautiful storytelling with compelling visuals and well-
crafted content. We even created a way for companies to purchase rocket space online, like buying an aeroplane
ticket…but for space.

Rearchitecting the traditional car rental booking service
When Ace Rental Cars came to us for an approach that
would set them apart in a crowded marketplace, we turned their expectations upside down. Our strategic response was
that it’s not about the cars, it’s about the people that drive
them. Enter, Rent the Experience—a new brand direction and website for Ace.
Instead of picking a car, customers select an experience. And the site selects the car that suits. Add a little 360° video
and some eye-catching animation - and you have a visually
striking, interactive online journey that hints at adventure
on the horizon.
This breakthrough approach has transformed the way Ace
do business, online.

Helping an industry leader embark on digital transformation
EnviroWaste helps NZ businesses to dispose of their waste
in a way that’s better for the planet.
As part of their core services upgrade - they are
undertaking a digital transformation of their products and processes — EnviroWaste asked us to reimagine and build
their digital marketing platform, as well as their online
eCommerce and ordering solution.
As well as presenting essential company information in a
way that’s easy to understand and navigate, the site lets
visitors create an account and hire bins for quick and easy repeat purchase. A complex pricing matrix was built from
scratch to handle inputs like bin number and size, rental
time, and customer and branch location. The result is a world-class booking engine that makes our world a little bit
better.

Developing a second screen experience that puts rugby fans in the game
When some of the biggest names in New Zealand rugby had
the idea to create an app that would make watching sport
with your mates more engaging and enjoyable than ever, they called on our team for the conversion.
4Play is a live sports companion game that utilises a custom real-time data management system. The result is a simple
and sticky second screen experience built in React Native
for iOS. Rugby fans assemble their dream team from
players featured in the live game and score points based on how well those players perform. The initial rugby-focussed
version of 4Play was successfully soft-launched during the
2017 All Blacks Test season. The official launch and plenty of new features are planned for the start of Super Rugby, 2018.

Amplifying the brand experience via a mobile application.
Beyond Luxury Media is a handcrafted and innovative media
company dedicated to creating industry-changing expos for the high-end travel market.
They approached us to help them innovate with technology. We created for them a native mobile
application across iOS and Android which allows expo
attendees to find contacts around them, chat with fellow attendees and review appointments.
The app is revolutionising the travel expo experience,
creating a community around the Beyond Luxury brand that extends outside their physical events.
