Canadian Blood Services has adapted the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC) malaria information by country (Yellow Book, 2016) to create the table below. The list has been edited for ease of use. For example, where CDC describes a risk as “rural”, the risk area may be expanded to include a state, province, district or the entire country. Countries are listed alphabetically by degree of risk.
