Our Mission Camp Lejeune Officers’ Spouses’ Club is a private, non-profit
fellowship and volunteer organization for officer spouses at
MCB Lejeune and surrounding areas. It was created to
foster a comfortable atmosphere of camaraderie, support
and community involvement among spouses of active and
retired personnel. We carry out our mission statement in
three ways
Socially: supporting members through networking and
friendship at events like luncheons and sub clubs.
Charitably: using the time, talents and energy of members
to enhance the greater Camp Lejeune area.
Socially: supporting members through networking and
friendship at events like luncheons and sub clubs.
Generously: raising funds to go into the Charitable
Distributions Fund, which supports local organizations
with monetary donations and the larger OSC Scholarship
Fund, which awards students and spouses with college
scholarships based on both merit and academic excellence.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday. Now it is time to look forward to what 2016 will bring. We have just four months left of our 2015-2016 OSC year to enjoy and to continue our efforts to raise money for our Philanthropic Fund. December’s Annual Tour of Homes fundraiser was epic with some wonderful additions. I hope everyone was able to take advantage of the Stuff Your Stockings event and enjoyed seeing the Parade of Trees decorated by many of our talented members. Our Ways and Means Chairperson, Suzanne Savage, has a few of the great OSC logo items still available. The fundraiser was a great success, the tickets sold out and the homes on the tour were truly magical and beautiful. Thank you to Summer Reaves, Jennifer Rose and the Tour of Homes committee for all the hard work and dedication to this event. Mark your calendars now for our upcoming January events. We have monthly Happy Hour and the MCI East/ MLG “Do it Yourself” luncheon. Come enjoy craft projects, DIY and floral demonstrations by the O’Club’s floral designer, John Wheeler. Our biggest fundraiser of the year is coming up in March with our infamous Basket Bingo. We need YOUR help to make it a success. Please contact Erika Simmons or Nancy Trollinger for more information. The Volunteer Hour Credit System is now available to all OSC members. Details of this program are available in this newsletter and the OSC website. Track It Forward is the online tracking tool and the details on signing up are also available in this newsletter and website. There is still time to join to take advantage of this great opportunity. Encourage others to join today! I appreciate all the support and opportunities for our OSC membership. If you need any more information on how to get involved, please don’t hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. I’m looking forward to all of our upcoming events and the opportunity to meet and see each one of you! Sincerely,
Stephanie Williams 2015-2016 OSC President
