• Remain quiet.

• Review EQ and Common Core standards

CRCT PreparationEssential Questions:

•How can reviewing, discussing, and analyzing the elements of the standards better prepare me for the ELA and Reading parts of the CRCT?

•What are my weaknesses (content domains) in ELA and Reading?

Work Period1. Pass out laptops and headphones.

2. CRCT Prep Fill out “My Plan to Conquer the CRCT:

Reading and ELA” (pink sheet)

3. Student-Teacher ConferencesBring your RED folder when called.

4. While waiting to conference, please make sure you have:

Added your Skills Tutor scores and Brain Pop quiz scores to your CRCT plan handout (pink sheet)

Brain Pop log in information is located on our class blog (www.cobblearning.net/mshines)

Reminders:“My Plan to Conquer the

CRCT: Reading and ELA” is due by 4/18/2013.

You MUST conference at least once this week with Ms. Hines. No exceptions!

Scores from your “My Plan to Conquer the CRCT: Reading and ELA” will be added to Pinnacle. Do your best.

CRCT begins 4/22/2013.We will do a mini lesson

on Phrases and Clauses on tomorrow.

Closing1. Log off of your computers and place your headphones inside of the zip lock bag.

Please do not shut down the computers.

2. Line up to return all computers and headphones.

3. Return to your seats quietly.

4. Clean up your area.

5. Copy down your homework

6. When directed, stand up next to your desk quietly.

7. Wait to be dismissed by Ms. Dalton.

Homework: Take your RED folder home and work on “My Plan to Conquer the CRCT: Reading and ELA.” It is due by 4/19/2013.
