Kindergarten Orientation

Today it was the Kindergarten Orientation.

Sienna said her poem. I will be in Year One and the pre-schoolers will be in Kindergarten next year. I sang on the stage. I watched the leaders speak.

Lost hat By Jack As usual Mum was nagging me about losing my hat. I decided to check the lost and found and I was shocked to see a free ticket to a monster truck show! Only the people that looked in the box could see the show because when I lifted the ticket I could see monster trucks moving and doing stunts. It was amazing and I never ever told anyone.

Kindergarten Orientation Sienna and Beau said their poems. We had music. We had some pre-schoolers. Tobias and Jasmine participated. Next year the new pre-schoolers are going to be here. We did our own poems called “Challenges” and “The Witchy Witch’s Rap”. The parents were sitting on the chairs.

We did a song. The weather was sunny. When the pre-schoolers were here it was fun. The best thing was Sienna and Beau doing their poems. I liked this day. The pre-schoolers were cute. I like all my kids in the class. I liked the pre-schoolers.

The Wishing Well By Jessie

Gazing into the wishing well I had no idea that my wish was about to come true! Tiana and Austin were my brother and sister. Tiana was fifteen and Austin was seventeen. I was sixteen and my name was Jessie. We lived in a palace with chandeliers! It was very cool but sadly we had a mean mother. Tiana and I were the two beautiful girls and Austin was the handsome boy. We knew that it was our brother Austin’s birthday. We got him a present which was an X box. He was so excited when he saw our present. When he opened our present he hugged Tiana and I.

My Holiday Trip By Joshua It was a beautiful day at my friend’s hut. I rode up to the dwarf mine on my two wheel motor bike. I heard rocks falling. While I was at the mine I ate tasty barbeque shapes.

The Alien By Joshua Max was a very different kind of alien because he had twenty arms, two antennas, fifty legs and one thousand heads. His friends were scared of him so he flew away in his space ship, but he accidently crashed onto Earth. There he met Austin, Jack, Lukas and I. We were not scared of him! We said, ”How are you?” Max said ”Okay, thank you.” We became best friends and Max lived at my house. We had a movie night and we lived happily ever after.

The Dinosuar Exhibition

We all thought the dinosaur exhibition at the museum was amazing until the dinosaur came alive.

The dinosaur smashed the museum.

The dinosaur ran onto the road.

The dinosaur stepped on people.

I said to the museum man

“How do I stop the dinosaur from wrecking the city?“

“You have to get a potion from that shop over there.”

I got the bottle and put it on the dinosaur.

The dinosaur shrank and I lived happily ever after.

Kindergarten Orientation On Tuesday I spoke into the microphone. I was one of the leaders. Sienna said a poem called “Little Miss Muffet.” Beau said a poem called “A Terrible, Terrible Dragon.” Last year we were watching Year One. We had a mini concert. I had fun. We had pre-schoolers. We sang a song called “Hey Polly Wiggle.” We said our poems too.

Kindergarten Orientation Today the preschoolers visited. Kindergarten Orientation was fun. We did our poems and our song. Sienna said her poem and Beau said his poem on Kindergarten Orientation day. I loved Beau’s poem. Mrs Choon helped us do our poem. The kindergartens were in the hall with the pre-schoolers. The pre-schoolers walked around with their badges on. Claudia led us onto the stage. I enjoyed the mini-concert. I love our poem. Mums and dads sat on the chairs.

I designed a persuasive poster for Anzac Day. 1. I glued pieces on the paper. 2. I coloured the back ground and then it is done.

Kindergarten Orientation Today it was Kindergarten Orientation day. We wanted to have the best day in the school. The parents liked when we said our poems. When the pre-schoolers first come to our school they will get their first bronze award. They will love our school. We will make friends with them. It will be such fun when they are playing tip.

Before going to bed last night I made a wish upon a star and in my dreams my wish came true. The star came down to me and it came into my house. I touched it and the star went into my house. I touched it and the star went into my room and hid in my bed. My star went back into the sky.

The Fairyland Adventure By Morgan

Nobody knows that when I lie in my bed it flies me to magical places! Once it took me under water but this time I am flying to Fairy land with Elizabeth and Bethany. We had so much fun! We spent three days in fairy land. On the first day it was my birthday, so Elizabeth and Bethany asked the fairies for a cake. They put a sculpture of a fairy on top. It was a strawberry cake and it was very yummy. I took a bite of the cake and I turned into a fairy. Then Elizabeth and Bethany took a bite and they turned into fairies. We were turned into water fairies and we had surfboards. Every morning we went surfing. On the second day we stayed at the beach for the whole day and surfed. We caught some massive waves. The next morning I woke up and it was just a dream.

Jack’s Trick’s By Riley

The tricks Jack performed were amazing. Everybody sat nervously awaiting his newest trick, a double back flip! He landed on his two wheels but he broke his leg! He could not walk on it and we called an ambulance. He went to hospital and he never did that trick again.

My Journey into Space By Sasha

Buried deep beneath the Earth’s surface lay a rocket. I didn’t know about the rocket as I was looking for bones.

Suddenly I fell into a cave! I looked around until my shovel fell on my head! I got knocked out for a moment but then I woke up. I was walking when I saw the rocket in front of me! I went inside the rocket and I started the engine. It started a countdown!

10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0!

The rocket zoomed quickly into space. In space I saw Neptune, Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, the sun, meteors, some black holes and the moon.

I loved the adventure until there were aliens. They shot my rocket down onto the moon. I saw my rocket smashed to pieces on the moon’s surface.

Then I saw an alien. It said to me

“Do you need help?”

I said, “Yes I do need help!”

Then the alien started to help me and we became friends.

We rebuilt the rocket, I thanked the alien and zoomed home!

Kindergarten Orientation I was performing with my class. There was a lot of audience. It was really, really fun. I was nervous too but the weather was strange. It looked like there was rain coming. Then we read two poems. It was cold but after the morning it was sunny. What a busy but fun day!

Alphabet Soup by Skyla

Every time I eat alphabet soup I see strange messages appearing in the bowl. One day I went to bed. I heard a sound from the soup. I saw a ‘b’ in the soup. I tasted it and it was yummy, but I turned into Bethany! Bethany saw a ‘s’ in the soup and ate the s and she turned into me, Skyla! We were confused! We went back to my place. There was another s and b in the soup. I ate the s and Bethany ate the b! We changed back to ourselves and lived happily ever after.

The Gingerbread Man By Tiana

We bake gingerbread men every year for Christmas and last year one sprung to life! He said “Run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me, I am the gingerbread man.” “Oh yes I can!” I said. “No you can’t.” “Yes I can.” That little gingerbread man was very cheeky so I decided to chase him! I caught him and I ate him up. He was yummy!

The Magical Calculator

I had never noticed this button on my calculator before, but when I pushed it a card wars board appeared!

I played against Harry.

He put down a Quaddal and a Sand Foot and sadly I lost.

I pressed the button again and everything disappeared.

Fairyland Sometimes l can fly with angels to a magical world. It is called Fairyland and l am the only boy who couldn’t fly.

I was amazed that they could fly. Then one of the fairies taught me to fly. l told the fairy that l didn’t have any wings. So then she gave me some. I was happy.

The next day l flapped my wings and flew in the air. I was happy. I went home to my mum, dad and my sister Ruby. They were so happy for me. So they got a pair of wings too.

We could fly together, my mum, dad and Ruby my sister. Later we went to the moon and we went to the sun. We went to a star.

In the night we went to Malta. It was a big journey. When we got there we had a big rest. We stayed there for five months then we flew back home.

IN THE FUTURE In the future I would have a flying saucer. All the dots on the sides would be machine guns.

I would have an extra fast hovercraft, a skyscraper and a rocket.

There would be no school. We would have Maccas every day. It would a great life!

Upon arriving at the glistening waterfall we were greeted by a magical unicorn. The magical unicorn took me to a special place. It took me to a village. While I was there I went to buy a sparkly pink dress and I met a person.

That person’s name was Piper and she went to school like me. We met at the pond. And then we went shopping and we brought another sparkly pink dress.

Max’s new tricks The tricks Max performed were amazing. Everybody sat nervously awaiting his newest trick.

Standing up in the air over a jump was Max’s favourite trick.

Max’s boots have metal in them. This is so if he kicks things he won’t hurt his toes.

Everybody cheered when he did his tricks.

Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty was miserable since she was awoken by the Prince’s kiss. She has never been able to sleep again.

I was happy. I went down the stairs, there were lots of stairs it took me a long time to go down a lot of stairs. I had a long dress. The colours were happy colours - pink, green, purple and blue.

We had a wedding, my dress was a beautiful light pink dress. We invited everyone. They were all Disney Princesses. I had a long dress. It was long like Rapunzel’s hair.

We lived in a big castle. The colour was white with three flags that were pink.

Squashy Elephants!

If I had a house full of elephants I would play with them. I would

play soccer with them. I would feed them. I would keep them

company. I would play NRL with them.

Sometimes I could teach them tennis or show them how to use my

iPad but they might break it!

I think that they would be good at lifting weights. I could get them

to lift me or a tree! I would weight them all.

We could have baths together. They could spray me with water.

That would be fun!

I would honk with them and run around with them.

A house full of elephant would be fun except they might squish me!
