Kaivalyadham was founded in 1924. A full 10 years before the venerable

Yoga guru late B K S Iyengar, started learning yoga as a teenager.Shri B K S

Iyengar, who recently passed away, started learning yoga in 1934.

Kaivalyadham follow s an ancient and pure tradition of Yoga, prescribed by

the traditional texts written thousands of years ago. Kaivalya means the

ultimate state of Union.

Smithsonian, the worlds largest museum complex, recently showcased

This foundation teachers t raining course

provides an int imate experience online, wit h

over 60 hours of in-depth video lectures and

guidance from the teachers over email.

There are five core yoga ebooks to study.

Together they amount to more than 100 hours

of study and immersion. It s a self-paced course,

allowing the student upto one year to assimilate

the deeper relevance of their practice. However,

once you enrol, you have lifetime access to the

lectures. More are added from t ime to t ime.

The postural practice, for final certification, is

covered in 2 weeks intensive at KaivalyaDhama,

India.

Adhyayan Study 100 hours

At your own pace, online at home. We recommend that you study for a

minimum of six months. However you have lifetime access to the course so

you can devote as much time as you need before applying for the practicals.

More time spent in assimilating the concepts with repeat viewing, note taking

and reading of e-books in the course is highly recommended.

45 hours of theory online video lectures. 10 hours of BONUS lectures by Shri

O P Tiwari, Dr. Ramesh Bijlani and Dr. B R Sharma. 5 contact hours of online

collaboration and interaction with Yoga Mentors over email. 40 hours of self-

study of Yogic basic texts provided in PDF format.

Practice sessions start w ith you checking-in on t he first Sunday of every

Dr. Ganesh Raohas conducted more than

13500 sessions of Yoga till date, covering

Dr. Rao is a Guide for Ph.D. students in

Philosophy and Yoga of M umbai University

and K.K. Sanskrit University, Nagpur. Presently, he is Advisor to

Kaivalyadhama, M umbai as also a Member of the Board of Studies of

Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala. His expert ise and endeavours are geared tow ards

enabling the adherent to transcend the physical, mental, psychological and

intellectual aspects while aiming for the ultimate purpose for which Yoga

authentically stands.

Vartika Dubeyis the daughter of Shri O P Tiwari and

disciple of Swami Digambarji. She has been trained in

pranayama by her father and has had the blessing of

her guru and father both to teach Pranayama. She

directs the New York chapter of KaivalyaDhama and

has been teaching for many decades.

Hiroshi Aikatais an ex-student of KaivalyaDhama, who

graduated in 1991. Currently Professor of Philosophy in

Thailand. Excellent communicator and has a thorough

knowledge of Indian yogic texts and yogic concepts,

having practiced and studied them for many years.
