Priscilla Potter (Swami Maha-tarananda), E-RYT 500 is the founder and director of the Yoga Connection. Her inspirational and intuitive teaching style is supported by over 40 years of training and more than 35 years of teaching teachers.
Gary Phelan RN, E-RYT 500 graduated from the Yoga Connection’s first HTTI program in 1992 and has taught yoga for almost 20 years. He has been on the HTTI teaching staff for 18 years. Gary brings to his teaching a warm gentleness and humor. He has worked in nursing since 1976.
Susan Ferguson RN, PYT, E-RYT 500 graduat-ed from the Yoga Connection in 1994. Sue is a certified yoga therapist and has been teaching yoga since 1987. Priscilla was her first formal teacher and mentor. Her teaching balances alignment with allowing students to experience the flow of energy.
Jim Norris completed his 200 hour level training through the Yoga Connection in 1992 and has taught for the Yoga Connection for more than 18 years. His area of expertise and personal study is focused on the Eight Limbs of Yoga, Yoga Sutras and Mantra.

The next program starts Saturday, October 5, 2013 and will end on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Class will meet alternate Saturdays, one Sunday a month and includes a weekend retreat.
Dear Seeker, Thank you for your interest in our HTTI program. We have been training teachers in Tucson since 1992. We offer monthly informational meetings (listed on our website) or we are happy to meet with you individually to give you an overview of the course and answer any questions you might have. Call us to set up an appointment.
Decades ago Joseph Campbell coined the phrase “follow your bliss”. If teaching yoga, deepening your practice and being of service speaks to you, we invite you to look more closely at our program.

Registration, Tuition & Discounts
Download an application from our website or call to request one. Submit your application with $25 fee*.
Tuition is $2975. This includes 260 hours of classes, workshops, a weekend retreat, a substantial workbook, handouts and more. You will also receive 20 yoga classes, a 10% bookstore discount and a minimum of 20% discount on workshops not included in the HTTI. Required texts are additional; the cost is approximately $126.
A deposit (part of the total tuition) of $500 is needed to ensure your place. An early registration discount and payment plans are available. Partial tuition work-study is available on a limited, first come basis.
The Yoga Connection is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization under the direction of Priscilla Potter, Swami Maha-tarananda. It has been active in the Tucson community since 1987.
Our mission is to make the teachings of yoga, health and well-being available to all who seek. We are active in the community serving many populations with a variety of special needs. Our graduates are teaching in schools, health clubs, prisons, nursing homes, gyms, resorts, retirement communities and more.
Our yoga school is regulated by the state through the AZPPSE.
The Yoga Connection is approved by AZ Department of Veterans Services to certify qualified Veterans for GI Bill benefits for our 200 Hour & 300 Hour Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings.
We are a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School. Completion of our training makes you eligible to register with Yoga Alliance. Begins October 5, 2013

Who Can Attend
All students interested in teaching yoga are invited to apply. Proficiency of the postures is not a prerequisite. We do suggest one year (approximately 50 hours) of yoga experience. We require a minimum of 10 hours at our studio prior to the first teacher training class.
