They make about $84,880 a year. They use their knowledge they know about nuclear energy to solve nuclear problems. They are trained to this knowledge in design, construction, research, and development. Most nuclear engineers work in labs and some in colleges. Other work in nuclear plants that make nuclear weapons and equipment. Some nuclear engineers make equipment that help solve problems in medicine, science, industry, and agriculture.

In Nuclear engineering you could do lots of things. You could examine an accident to find ways to prevent those accidents or you could perform experiments that will provide information about acceptable methods. The other thing you could do are write operational instructions used for nuclear plant operation.

First you need at least a bachelor’s degree in science, physics, or engineering. Then if you have a doctoral or master’s degree you have a better chance of getting a job in nuclear engineering.

The percent of growth in nuclear engineering is expected11% from 2008 to 2018. The small number of nuclear engineering graduates is likely to be a rough balance with the number of jobs opening.

No because you may get paid a lot but the job is very dangerous. I think this job wouldn’t fit me because you have to go to school for a longer time then I want to go for. That is why This job doesn’t fit me.
