PURPOSE
To observe osmosis1. Place eggs in vinegar.
(to remove shell)2. Measure weight of the
eggs with a balance.3. Measure size of the
eggs with tape measure.
4. Place one egg in water then the other in corn syrup.
5. Measure weight and size again.

OBSERVATIONVinegar: Egg is bouncy Beaker was foamy after
24h Egg is squishy because
shell is missing by the vinegar
Water: Egg look fatter, when it
was in water for 24hSyrup: Egg looks deflated and
dented, when it was in corn syrup for 24h
CONCLUSIONWater: Egg got larger has low concentration Water moved to high
concentration(water) to low concentration(egg)
