Since our beginning we have focused on earning an outstanding record of relevant, demonstrated expertise and experience providing Systems Engineering, Integration and IT support services, to Local and US Federal Agencies. IPCS Supports both Federal and Local customers in the Pacific Rim with day-to-day telephone system operations and liaison with local telephone suppliers (i.e. Sprint MCI, Verizon, GTA, etc,) designated Avaya service organizations, and generation of all contracted reports. IPCS provides Help/Trouble Desk support on a 24x7x365 basis, Identifying and resolving switch network problems, supporting Video-Teleconferencing among other tasks and systems services. Information Technology IPCS has provided a range of services to the following agencies to include but not limited to the Department of Justice, U.S. Marshals Service, Secret Service, National Weather Service, FAA, US Probations Office, DEA, ATF and FBI. All installations and system integration projects require compliance with best commercial practices. The most common standards are from the American Standards Institute (ANSI) and include TIA/EIA-568-A/B (Commercial Building Telecommunications Cabling Standard); TIA/EIA-606, Administration Standard for the Telecommunications Infrastructure of Commercial Buildings; TIA/EIA-607, Commercial Building Grounding and Bonding Requirements for Telecommunications; TIA/EIA-TSB 67, Transmission Performance Specifications for Field Testing Unshielded Twisted-Pair Cabling Systems; and TIA/EIA-OFSTP-14, Optical Power Loss Measurements of Installed Multimode Fiber Cable Plant. To ensure that we comply with all best commercial practices and common standards, we only employ people who have expertise in the following areas: (1) working knowledge and use of the installed telephone-switching systems and associated equipment; (2) knowledge of computer software to provide databases, spreadsheets, and text files; (3) experience with telecommunications system management and records management; (4) understanding of Federal contract regulations and law; (5) good communications skills, both oral and written, to work well with customers and vendor personnel.
