! Pew Internet reports the data as “% internet users who have ever used social networking sites or Twitter”

! For a health care audience, it is more relevant to report “% adults who have ever used social networking sites or Twitter”

! Formula used in these charts is – % social network users x % internet users for the year studied

! This yields lower adoption %, but ones that are reflective of the general population, which is who health care serves
